I’m so excited about this new RPG! It’s totally different – it’s a turn-based game where you get to experience awesome musical numbers *during* the battles. You play as Cadence, a pop singer trying to make it big, and it’s all about her journey to stardom.
Cadence didn’t succeed in the Noteworthy Song Contest, and she realizes she needs more than just her own talent to impress the judges. She sets off on a journey across Note, gathering a diverse and talented band from cities like Durandis and Lumina. However, a mysterious event called the Harmonic Convergence is causing chaos with the world’s music, and someone is secretly trying to destroy Note’s peaceful melodies. Cadence and her new bandmates must rise to the challenge and fight to save music itself.
Okay, so I just started playing People of Note, and the combat is seriously unlike anything I’ve ever seen! It’s turn-based, but it feels like you’re *performing* music during battles. Everything changes on the fly, and you have to time your attacks to the rhythm – plus, you can create crazy attack combos by mixing different music genres. It’s super engaging and really makes each fight feel unique!
Experience complete, movie-quality musical numbers featuring different styles of music, all performed by the show’s main characters.
Experience turn-based action combat as a dynamic, interactive musical performance.
Attack in time with the music to deal extra damage to enemies. This rhythm-based combat system rewards precise timing.
Battle music shifts on the fly, so time your attacks to match the beat and genre for a strategic advantage.
Musical Mashups let your team combine their individual musical styles to create powerful and exciting attack combinations.
Discover Note, a vast world where different musical genres each have their own distinct landscapes and cultures.
Dive into vibrant dungeons full of offbeat enemies and clever environmental puzzles.
You can tailor People of Note to your preferences! If you don’t enjoy environmental puzzles or turn-based combat, you can easily disable those features. We’ve designed the game to be fully customizable, so you can play exactly how you want.
