Annapurna Interactive announced that Iridium Studios’ game, *People of Note*, will be available digitally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) in 2026.
Annapurna Interactive announced *People of Note* as one of three games they’ll be showcasing at Tokyo Game Show 2025. Unlike the other two – the puzzle-adventure game *D-topia* and the action-platformer *Demi and the Fractured Dream* – *People of Note* is an RPG. Playable demos for all three games, including *People of Note*, will be available at the event in Makuhari Messe.
I’ve got the official screenshots and details for People of Note right here! The best part? It’s fully voiced in English, and they’re going all out with subtitles – we’re talking French, German, Spanish (both versions!), Portuguese (both versions!), Polish, Japanese, Korean, and both Traditional and Simplified Chinese. Basically, pretty much everyone will be able to enjoy it with text in their language!

Embark on a unique RPG adventure where rhythm and battle collide! Play as Cadence, a pop star on a journey to achieve her dreams.
Cadence didn’t win the Noteworthy Song Contest, and she starts to think her solo performance wasn’t strong enough. She sets off on a journey across Note, visiting places like Durandis and Lumina, and builds a band with talented musicians she meets along the way. However, a strange event called the Harmonic Convergence is causing problems with music itself, and someone is secretly trying to destroy the peaceful balance of Note. Cadence and her new band members unexpectedly find themselves with a much bigger task: saving the future of music.
People of Note offers a fresh take on turn-based battles. Instead of just selecting moves, you’ll participate in dynamic, musical fights where the conditions change, attacks sync to the rhythm, and you can even combine genres for powerful moves!
As a huge fan, I’m so excited about the full musical numbers in this! The main characters actually *sing* – and not just any songs, but really diverse ones covering all sorts of musical styles. They’re like mini-movies within the story, and they’re amazing!
Experience turn-based action combat as a dynamic, interactive musical performance.
Attack in time with the music to deal extra damage to enemies. It’s all about rhythm!
Battle music shifts during fights, so time your attacks to match the beat and style of the current song for a strategic advantage.
Musical Mashups let your team combine their individual music styles to create powerful, energetic attacks.
Discover Note, a vast world where different music genres come to life as distinct environments and cultures.
Dive into vibrant dungeons full of offbeat enemies and clever environmental puzzles.
You can tailor People of Note to your preferences! Don’t enjoy environmental puzzles? Simply disable them. Prefer real-time action over turn-based battles? No problem – we’ve made the game fully customizable so you can play exactly how you like.
