Starting from April, Nintendo is hosting an event called “Nintendo Switch 2 Experience” where people can try out the upcoming system ahead of its release. Interested fans had to register and tickets were given out randomly. Now that the tickets have been distributed this week, some lucky winners are selling them on eBay.
These tickets cannot be transferred to another person, so whoever buys them from a reseller will not be allowed entrance to the event. On Nintendo’s FAQ page, it is made clear that the ticket is non-transferable and can only be used once.
A supposed ticket for an event in Milan was initially offered for sale online, but the post is now missing. Another posting for a Dallas ticket appeared, starting at a bid of $40, yet it too has been removed. Some listings for the New York event are going as high as $300.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m super excited because the upcoming event will happen globally at different spots in North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia! Nintendo has also announced a Direct presentation on April 2, all about the Switch 2. This device is slated for release this year, and there are whispers of some exciting games like a fresh Mario Kart title heading its way. It seems Xbox might be teaming up with it too!
