Pedro Pascal had a busy 2025 with several major projects, including returning for another season of The Last of Us, making his first appearance as a superhero in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and starring in a new film by Ari Aster. However, that Aster film received disappointing reviews after its premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
Following a disappointing performance in theaters, Warner Bros. Discovery announced that Eddington will start streaming on HBO Max November 14th. Viewers will then be able to watch it on the traditional HBO channel the following day, November 15th, at 8:00 pm Eastern Time.
Ari Aster is a highly praised director known for his modern horror films like Hereditary (2018) and Midsommar (2019). He continued his collaboration with A24 for his latest film, Eddington, a neo-Western thriller. While anticipated to be a hit, it hasn’t quite reached the same cult status as his previous work.
