The second season of DC’s *Peacemaker* has finished, and viewers are eager to find out who doesn’t survive the final episode. The preview for this week’s finale hinted at several exciting developments, including A.R.G.U.S. agents exploring alternate realities through the Quantum Unfolding Chamber. Because this season sets the stage for James Gunn’s upcoming *Superman* movie, fans anticipated major reveals.
Here’s what happened in the Peacemaker Season 2 finale.
Does Kline die in Peacemaker Season 2 episode 8?
The season finale of Peacemaker, episode 8 titled “Full Nelson”, set up future DC movies in a surprising way. After Peacemaker handed over the QUC to A.R.G.U.S., Rick Flag ordered his team to open every door they could find within the strange pocket dimension.
So, picture this: Agent Kline is leading the way, with Fleury and Harcourt right behind him, and a couple of other team members bringing up the rear. They stumble upon this door that’s… just open. Being cautious, Kline, Fleury, and Harcourt decide to go in first. Big mistake! As soon as they cross the threshold, they’re swarmed by these incredibly small, totally alien creatures. It was like something out of a classic sci-fi flick – a real jump scare moment!
The creatures quickly swarmed the agents, who struggled to defend themselves as they were pulled away from the exit. The creatures severed their safety line and then sealed the door, trapping the three agents inside. When the door finally opened, everyone rushed out, but several creatures managed to breach Kline’s protective suit, attacking his face. By the time he escaped, the creatures had fatally wounded him, having devoured half of his face.
Even after Kline’s sad ending, the team kept exploring, and wow, the places they found! They stumbled upon doors leading to some seriously wild stuff – a black hole, a burning ancient city that looked like Rome but with these huge skeletons that moved like spiders, and even a planet completely overrun by zombies. Eventually, they landed on a world that felt a lot like Earth, with air we could actually breathe. It turned out Flag had big plans for this place, though – he wants to use it as a prison for meta-humans. It was a pretty shocking reveal!
At the very end, A.R.G.U.S. agents take Peacemaker into custody and hold him as a test subject in this reality.
