Be warned: this contains spoilers for the Peacemaker Season 2 finale, “Full Nelson.” If you haven’t watched the episode on HBO Max, you might want to avoid reading further.
For fans of *Peacemaker*, the season finale is now available, with Season 2 set to premiere in 2025. Last month’s episodes ended with Christopher Smith (Peacemaker) and his team – Emilia Harcourt, Leota Adebayo, John Economos, Adrian Chase, and Judomaster – returning from their mission to Earth-X. Peacemaker turned himself and the powerful Quantum Unfolding Chamber over to A.R.G.U.S., but it looks like his alternate-reality counterpart, Keith Smith, is about to become a major threat.
We’ve reached the end of this set of *Peacemaker* episodes. What happens in this finale, and will it affect the wider DC Universe? Let’s dive in and see!
The Peacemaker Season 2 Finale Live Blog Starts Here!

I’m so excited everyone is tuning in with me tonight for the Peacemaker Season 2 finale! That little sneak peek at the end of last week’s episode definitely hinted at something completely insane – even for this show! Plus, James Gunn mentioned it’s over 50 minutes long, so we’re in for a really packed and amazing episode, I can just feel it. I can’t wait!
A Flashback Set One Month Ago
The story begins with Chris and Harcourt on a date at Big Belly Burger, a popular fast-food place in the DC Universe. It’s sweet that he explains a song to her, even if he also playfully embarrasses her. And there are shots of alcohol involved, which is a fun addition!
We’re Finally Learning What Happened On The Boat
Chris managed to stop Harcourt from starting a fight and now he’s unexpectedly taking her to see the band Nelson on a boat. It makes you wonder what series of events led to this unusual situation.
A.R.G.U.S. Is Exploring The QUC
Okay, so Rick Flag Sr. is jumping right into exploring the multiverse. I’m seeing his team, decked out in those containment suits, immediately heading into the QUC – that’s the Quantum Uncertainty Corridor, for those of you keeping score at home – to check out what other universes are waiting to be discovered. It’s a fast start, and I’m already intrigued to see what kind of trouble they’ll find.
