Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is now available globally on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, as announced by Paradox Interactive with the release of its launch trailer.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is offered in three versions: standard, Deluxe, and Premium, across all platforms. You can watch the launch trailer from Paradox Interactive, which includes more details, below.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is now available on PC and consoles! Published by Paradox Interactive and White Wolf, and developed by The Chinese Room, the game lets players explore the dark streets of Seattle. The standard edition costs $59.99 (or £49.99/€59.99), with a Deluxe Edition at $69.99 (£58.50/€69.99) and a Premium Edition for $89.99 (£74.99/€89.99). You can find it on Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, you play as Phyre, an ancient vampire who goes by the name Nomad – a figure whispered about when big changes are coming. The game starts in Seattle in 2024, and Phyre needs to regain their full powers by maneuvering through the complicated world of vampire politics. You’ll be helped (and sometimes unsettled) by Fabien, a detective whose understanding of reality is…unconventional. You can choose to play as one of six vampire clans – the rebellious Brujah, the magically-inclined Tremere, the justice-seeking Banu Haqim, the influential Ventrue, the captivating Toreador, or the secretive Lasombra – each offering a unique gameplay experience with its own style, look, and special abilities.
As Phyre navigates the cold streets of Seattle, they encounter people who challenge their beliefs and alter their journey. The city’s vampire leaders, known as the Camarilla, strictly control their world and enforce the Masquerade – a set of rules designed to keep vampires a secret from humans. Outside the Camarilla’s control, rebellious Anarchs and independent vampires struggle to survive and break free. Phyre’s decisions, influenced by the history of a figure named Fabien, will determine the fate of Seattle.
Bloodlines 2 offers four difficulty settings – Casual, Easy, Normal, and Hard – to let players customize their experience. Casual mode focuses on the story and makes combat easier, perfect for those wanting to explore the mysteries of Seattle. The other modes – Easy, Normal, and Hard – gradually increase the challenge, demanding that players become skilled with the character’s abilities to survive.
The release of Bloodlines 2 is a major achievement for White Wolf and the Vampire: The Masquerade franchise,” said Marco Behrmann, Executive Vice President and Producer of Bloodlines 2. “It honors the legacy of previous games while also offering a fresh experience. Players can now explore the supernatural underworld of Seattle, which feels both innovative and nostalgic. I’d like to thank the talented team at The Chinese Room for their creative vision and hard work in crafting this immersive and terrifying world – it truly captures the essence of Vampire: The Masquerade.”
According to Alex Skidmore, Project Creative Director at The Chinese Room, storytelling is central to their work, and in Bloodlines 2, it’s deeply connected to the immersive, character-focused horror that defines the World of Darkness. The game is set in Seattle, a city about to explode into a full-scale supernatural conflict, and as one character, Fabien, points out, bad things often come in pairs. This project is a major step for the team, allowing them to bring their unique style of storytelling to a rich, complex world filled with moral dilemmas. The characters Phyre and Fabien perfectly represent this tension, as they’re a mismatched pair who constantly find themselves in trouble while investigating Seattle’s hidden secrets.
The music for Bloodlines 2 comes from lead composers Craig Stuart Garfinkle and Eímear Noone, who create a spooky and atmospheric sound that perfectly matches the dark and mysterious setting of Seattle. Composer Rik Schaffer, known for his work on the original Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, also contributes new music. The voice actors, including Hara Yannas and Tommy Sim’aan as Phyre, and Ronan Summers as Fabien, deliver compelling and realistic performances that bring the complex world of Seattle’s vampires and humans to life.
The story packs “Loose Cannon” and “The Flower & the Flame” for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be released in 2026 as part of the Expansion Pass. These packs let players experience the game’s Seattle setting from the viewpoints of Sheriff Benny Muldoon and Primogen Ysabella Moore.
