According to creator Dan Fogelman, the third season of Paradise will be the show’s last, with no plans for a fourth season. Be warned, spoilers follow!
Hulu’s thrilling second season has kept fans guessing, with lots of discussion around ideas about different universes and the story of Frank Sinatra’s son, Dylan.
The story concluded with several surprising turns, most notably the bunker dwellers being sent out into the outside world. Meanwhile, Xavier’s mission is to locate another hidden bunker beneath Denver Airport and rescue Alex, a powerful and enigmatic quantum computer.
According to creator Dan Fogelman, even if Hulu wants another season, Paradise Season 3 will focus on Xavier attempting to repair the damaged timeline, and it won’t allow for a fourth season to happen.
Dan Fogelman can’t picture changing Paradise Season 3 plan to do Season 4

So, from what I understand, the creator, Dan Fogelman, always planned for Season 3 of Paradise to be the last one. He’s getting a lot of pushback to continue, but he really thinks ending it here is the best way to wrap up the story. It kinda sucks, but I respect that he wants to stick to his original vision.
I definitely feel pressure, but I believe it’s important to stay true to the story I want to tell,” Dan Fogelman explained to the LA Times. “Sterling [K. Brown] agrees. From the start, I’ve had a clear vision for three seasons, and I can’t see that changing. The storyline we’ve developed for Season 3 simply doesn’t allow for it.
Fogelman also explained that Xavier likely doesn’t want to change the past, especially since he recently reunited with his family after leaving the bunker to find his wife, Teri.

Season 3 really dives into what happens when he finally gets the family he’s always dreamed of – his immediate family, and two adopted children. Just when things seem perfect, a strange billionaire reveals a bizarre story about something hidden beneath the Denver Airport, and everything gets complicated.
This isn’t about an immediate reaction. The third season will explore what he does with the information he receives and whether he can overcome its influence.
Season 3 of Paradise will likely challenge Xavier to balance the needs of his family with what he believes is best for everyone else. This internal conflict will probably unfold over a significant period, potentially even involving a time jump, as hinted by the show’s creator when talking about the future of Annie and Link’s child.
Okay, so Dan Fogelman just dropped some hints about Season 3, and it sounds like the kid – the baby, grown up now – is going to be really central to the story. He also said they’re going to mess with the timeline a lot, which is super interesting. I’m guessing we’ll be seeing flashbacks and flash-forwards, maybe even different versions of the same events. It’s going to be a wild ride!
