Palworld is releasing a new game where you can create and manage your own peaceful farm. This announcement comes shortly after Nintendo revealed Pokopia, which features a similar concept.
It’s well-known that Palworld and Nintendo haven’t been on good terms. Palworld, released in January 2024, became incredibly popular almost immediately. Its unique combination of catching creatures and survival gameplay led many to call it a “Pokémon-like” game, but with guns.
Even though the game was still in early access, most players enjoyed it. However, its popularity attracted the attention of Nintendo, which resulted in a lawsuit. This legal issue required the developers to make some changes to the game.
Honestly, even with all the legal stuff going on, Pocketpair isn’t stopping! They’ve already announced a new, more relaxed game set in the Palworld universe – and it’s kinda wild because Nintendo just showed off ‘Pokopia,’ which looks *really* similar. It feels like they’re not letting any of that slow them down at all!
Palworld is getting a cozy farming sim spin-off called “Palfarm”
A new team is developing Palfarm, a spin-off game based on Palworld, according to the official Palworld X (formerly Twitter) account.
Introducing Palfarm, a relaxing spin-off of Palworld! Build and manage your dream farm with all your favorite Pals. Grow crops, cultivate fields, and enjoy a peaceful, slower-paced gameplay experience. This new title is currently being developed by a dedicated team.

The trailer introduces Cattiva, a member of the Pals, who dreams of settling down on a peaceful farm. Driven by a need to clear their debts, they leave to pursue this new life.
The game looks similar to Palworld, but it’s designed to be a more relaxed experience. You can enjoy activities like farming, fishing, and building relationships with creatures, and even catch them – all combined with the familiar elements of a cozy life simulation game.
The Black Marketeer is back! This mysterious character, who sells hard-to-find items in Palworld, has reappeared in Palfarm. Just like in the original game, purchasing from him isn’t without its risks.
The game lets you play with friends and build a farm together, according to its Steam page.
What sort of “other ideas for games” was Bucky talking about here? 🤔
Maybe we’ll find out soon…?— Palworld (@Palworld_EN) September 17, 2025
The game is still under development and doesn’t have a release date yet. However, Pocketpair appears committed to its plans, hinting at additional projects even while facing a legal challenge and competition from Nintendo’s new farming game, Pokopia.
