Paley International Council Summit Heads to Silicon Valley in October

This fall, the Paley Center for Media is planning to host its yearly International Council Summit right in the core of Silicon Valley.

Some prominent figures from the technology industry, including Apple’s Content Chief Eddy Cue, YouTube’s CEO Neal Mohan, and Microsoft’s Gaming CEO Phil Spencer, have been invited to participate in this event. The event is scheduled to take place from October 22nd to 24th at the Rosewood Sand Hill hotel in Menlo Park, California.

Every year, the International Council Summit – led by Frank Bennack Jr., chairman of the Paley Center – convenes influential individuals from the business, political, and civic sectors, as well as athletes, artists, and other key figures. Their aim is to delve into the pressing matters that are transforming the dynamic media industry. This year’s summit is titled “Global Media Unbound: The Future of Innovation.” The International Council Summit has been an annual event since 1995.

Looking forward to the 2025 Paley International Council Summit, we are thrilled to gather the most brilliant minds worldwide to explore the future of media in an increasingly interwoven global landscape, commented Bennack, who serves as executive vice chairman and a former CEO of Hearst.

He expressed his eagerness to revisit Silicon Valley for the groundbreaking debates at the Summit, which have always been instrumental in influencing the industry’s trajectory over the coming years.

Distinguished figures in the technology sector, such as David Baszucki (CEO of Roblox), Andrew Wilson (CEO of Electronic Arts), Ryan Roslansky (CEO of LinkedIn), and Dave Wehner (Meta’s chief strategy officer), have also joined the organizing committee of the International Council.

Maureen Reidy, president and CEO of Paley Center for Media, stated, ‘Innovation is the link between dreams and reality, where daring concepts collide with the courage to turn them into something that alters the world. It’s fascinating to delve into this subject, and there’s no better place to do so than Silicon Valley.’
