Dominic Monaghan, Josh Holloway, and François Chau recently attended FanExpo in New Orleans. They participated in a panel discussion about Lost, answering questions from dedicated fans. When asked about the show’s impact, each actor shared their thoughts on its lasting legacy. Dominic Monaghan, who played Charlie, explained his perspective:
Honestly, when I heard the director, DaCosta, talk about how she approached the movie, it really resonated with me. She kept three words in mind: scary, epic, and fun! But what I loved was her focus on showing the kids – the Jimmies, as she called them – as actual children, really feeling lost and overwhelmed by everything happening around them. It just sounded like a really thoughtful approach to making a thrilling movie.
I was so excited to finally watch Marcello Hernández: American Boy when it dropped this month! It’s his first ever filmed comedy special, which is huge, especially since he’s been getting so much attention on SNL. I recently saw him on The Today Show talking about making it, and they asked about advice he got from Chris Rock. Apparently, he spoke to Chris right before filming, and Rock gave him some really insightful warnings that actually made him change things up. It was fascinating to hear!
I’m really getting into Dragon Traveler, and I’ve figured out that each character is actually connected to two different groups, or factions – there are six total. But what’s cool is that when you build a team, it usually focuses on boosting the effects of one main faction. The other faction each character brings along gives you some smaller bonuses if things line up, which adds a nice layer of strategy!
Okay, so the game takes place in this huge world called Spira, which is basically divided into three big areas. You play as Tidus, a star athlete, but things go south fast when this massive monster called Sin destroys his home. From there, you team up with a bunch of awesome characters to try and take down Sin and save Spira. One of them, Auron, is a real rock, always there to keep our spirits up when things get tough!

Okay, it’s only January, but I’m already predicting that Nia DaCosta’s 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple will be one of my absolute favorite films of 2026. (You can read a full review here, by the way!) What really grabbed me was how consistently surprising it was – the ending genuinely threw me, and left me feeling optimistic. But honestly, the thing that really sets it apart? A late-in-the-movie musical number that turned my entire theater into a collective ball of joy. It was a truly euphoric moment, and I can’t stop thinking about it.
As a long-time hockey fan, I remember the whole situation with the NHL last year. They initially banned things like pride tape on sticks and special jerseys – including pride jerseys – but quickly reversed course after a lot of criticism. Before that, players would wear these themed jerseys during warm-ups for things like Pride Night or to honor the military. A few players actually refused to wear the pride jerseys, saying it went against their religious beliefs. Ultimately, the NHL decided to just get rid of the special jerseys altogether and also banned the colorful tape, which was a bit of a mess, honestly.
With Kathleen Kennedy stepping down from leading the Star Wars franchise, the future of several planned movies and TV shows is now unclear. This includes a movie bringing together characters from popular series like The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and The Skeleton Crew in a multiverse-style adventure where they would battle Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen). While other projects are still moving ahead, production on this Mandoverse movie has been paused.
