For a while, until the second season aired, everyone just called him Baby Yoda. Disney really wanted official sources to call him “the Child” – I guess they didn’t want people thinking he was *literally* a young Yoda – but good luck getting the fans to change what they called him! It was a lost cause. Recently, though, the nickname “Baby Yoda” actually showed up in official material – a non-canon special, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past, to be exact. It’s funny because if George Lucas had followed through with one of his original ideas for Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, the phrase “Baby Yoda” would have a *completely* different meaning for Star Wars fans. It’s a fascinating bit of Star Wars trivia, really.

As a huge fan of classic movies, I always get excited when The Addams Family comes up. The story kicks off by introducing us to the family – though Uncle Fester is missing at first! He turns out to be Gomez’s long-lost brother, and he shows up with amnesia as part of a plan to steal their money. Honestly, the plot isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s the perfect vehicle for making characters like Gomez and Wednesday even more iconic than they already were, and it’s packed with really quotable lines. It’s not just a fun movie to watch with the family; it’s absolutely perfect for starting the Halloween season. You know it’s going to be creepy and spooky, but it’s also one of the most heartwarming and charming family films out there, great for revisiting old favorites and introducing a new generation to something special.

Since starring in Season 2 of Bridgerton, Jonathan Bailey has become a well-known movie star. The actor, who also appears in Jurassic World: Rebirth, has several exciting projects on the horizon, including Wicked: For Good-where viewers might notice similarities between his character, Fiyero, and Anthony-and the next season of the popular show that launched his career. Although the premiere of Bridgerton Season 4 is still some time away, Bailey recently compared filming the show to attending a debutante ball, as he explained to Time:

Netflix has a lot of great movies this year, including hidden gems, original films, and internationally popular horror movies that everyone is talking about. Some are ideal for watching with friends, while others are best experienced alone – if you dare! No matter how you choose to watch, these films will provide the spooky fun October calls for.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the newest movie in the anime series, captivated viewers with a fresh approach, focusing on Gohan and Piccolo rather than the usual spotlight on Goku and Vegeta. The Dragon Ball Super Super Hero Saga gave much-needed attention and improvements to characters who hadn’t been developed in a while. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero definitely marked an exciting new chapter for Piccolo and Gohan. However, it now appears this might have been the peak of their importance in the series.

Despite not succeeding, this initiative eventually led to the development of James Gunn’s DCU. However, it didn’t prevent the actors involved from building relationships that would last even after the superhero franchise ended. Notably, Henry Cavill, who previously played Superman, will be reuniting with his Highlander co-star Jeremy Irons in the upcoming reboot.
