According to FlixPatrol, Monster: The Ed Gein Story is currently the most popular TV show on Netflix worldwide, as of October 5, 2025. Added to the streaming service just last Friday, the series has quickly risen to the #1 spot in 37 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. The show features the story of convicted murderer and body snatcher Ed Gein. This new installment is the third season of the anthology series created by Ryan Murphy, which examines the lives of infamous ‘monsters’, with each season focusing on a different killer.

Breaking Dawn Part 2, and Breaking Dawn Part 1 (released in 2011), were both directed by Bill Condon. Condon is an Oscar-winning director known for films such as Gods and Monsters, Chicago, and Dreamgirls. Now, thirteen years after the initial film came out, Condon is discussing a specific scene in an interview – the moment when Peter Facinelli’s character, Carlisle Cullen, appears to die.

According to FlixPatrol, No Time to Die is currently ranked #5 among the Top 10 Movies on Prime Video in the United States, as of October 5, 2025. Even though it was only recently added to the streaming service, No Time to Die is already performing very well in the U.S., and it’s seeing comparable results internationally. The movie is currently charting in eight countries on Prime Video, and it’s also proving to be a hit on Video on Demand (VOD) in countries where it’s not available for streaming on Prime. The film has become an even more important installment in the James Bond franchise.

Nick Cassavetes, known for directing films such as Blow and John Q., directed the movie adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ novel, The Notebook. However, before the director was chosen, the author himself revealed on Good Morning America which other filmmakers were considered for the job. The revelation was surprisingly unexpected, much like a twist in a horror movie.

When the trailer for Good Boy was released in August, a huge increase in Google searches showed that the film was becoming more than just a small, independent movie. The central idea of featuring a dog as the main character has captured people’s attention, turning what could have been another low-budget horror film – of which Shudder has many – into something special. This turned out to be a smart decision by Ben Leonberg, whose Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Indy, stars in the movie. It has quickly become a hit online and is already the third highest-grossing original film for Shudder/IFC Films.
