As a big Payday 2 fan, I’m really excited to hear more about Sidetrack! They used to be known as the M.U.G. Team, and they’re a group with experience – they even kept RAID: World War 2 going after its official support ended. Starbreeze says their first update for Payday 2 is coming on October 23rd, and it’s all about making the game more stable and just generally a better experience for players. They’ve also promised more updates down the line to add little improvements and fix any bugs, which is awesome!

You’re not limited to specific guns by character class, so feel free to combine them however you like. This lets you prepare for different combat scenarios, and with three available loadouts, you can quickly switch to a different setup after you’re defeated.

The Verge reports that the cost of Xbox Series development kits is going up, from $1,500 to $2,000. These special versions of the Xbox are pricier than regular consoles because they include extra hardware, a lot more memory, and essential tools for developers to test and fix their games before release.

The Deluxe Arcade1Up cabinets offer a few upgrades that make them a bit more expensive than standard models. One key difference is size: Deluxe cabinets stand over 5 feet tall, perfect for adult players, while Special Editions are closer to 4 feet. If you prefer the smaller size, you can buy a riser for $59 to bring the height up to 5 feet. Otherwise, you might need an adjustable stool unless the cabinet is for children. The Deluxe versions also feature larger 17-inch screens and illuminated marquees, compared to the 15.6-inch displays and standard marquees of the regular models. Plus, they replace the fake coin door with a front panel displaying game logos.

The team behind Absolum posted an update on Steam on Monday, expressing their gratitude for the positive response to the game. They thanked players for their support and announced they’re already working on fixes for major issues, with those updates coming soon. They also shared a sneak peek at future content, saying they’re planning new patches and have long-term ideas for the game’s world. If players continue to enjoy Absolum, we can expect plenty more content in the months and years ahead.

I recently came across this really unique game called Final Sentence, and it’s a battle royale where you have to type fast – seriously, fast! If you can’t keep up with the typing, your character… well, let’s just say it doesn’t end well. It’s a pretty intense experience!
