HBO Has Another DC TV Show In The Works, But I Don’t See This One Connecting With James Gunn’s DCU

Variety reports that a TV series based on V for Vendetta is in development. James Gunn and Peter Safran, who are executive producers on the project, have hired Pete Jackson – known for writing British shows like Somewhere Boy and The Death of Bunny Munro – to write the adaptation. Channel 4 in the UK attempted a V for Vendetta series previously, but the project didn’t move forward.

Will there be a Dispatch season 2? Developers are considering it and fans are happy

It’s tricky for creators to follow up a hit. Viewers often get concerned when a studio quickly announces a sequel or another season, fearing it’s just an attempt to profit from the original’s popularity. So, fans were pleased to see that AdHoc Studios is being careful about a potential second season. While they are thinking about it, nothing is official yet. This measured approach shows the studio isn’t rushing things, and fans appreciate that they’re taking the time to make the best choice.

McDonald’s McRib finally returns and the crypto community is excited for one big reason

The McRib sandwich has a surprisingly popular – and somewhat quirky – history. It first came out in 1981, but wasn’t very successful and was taken off the menu after only four years. Ironically, this is what started the buzz around it! Now, whenever the McRib returns, fans rush to McDonald’s to enjoy its unique combination of saucy pork, onions, and pickles on a toasted bun.

Sci-Fi’s First Hero Was A Female Character, 52 Years Before Sigourney Weaver’s Ripley

Ripley is an incredibly important character, particularly as a strong female lead in a 1970s science fiction film. Sigourney Weaver’s portrayal was groundbreaking, and its effects are still visible today, not only in later Alien movies like with Rain in Alien: Romulus, but also in other sci-fi series, such as Katee Sackhoff’s Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica.

This New PC Game Lets Players Live Out Their Teen Comedy Dreams

Okay, so in this game, you play as Sam Tatum, the new student at Agefield High. I quickly became friends with Kale Baines and this guy Axel Philly who’s really trying to be a rockstar. But, of course, there’s gotta be a rival, right? This jock named Seth is our main problem. From what I’ve seen in the trailer, you can either mess with him by pulling pranks, or just straight-up fight him to prove who rules the school. It looks like a lot of fun!

James Gunn Celebrates New Batman TV Series Release

The new show, Bat-Fam, takes a fresh approach to the Batman universe. Unlike most stories, it doesn’t center around traditional heroes like Nightwing and Batgirl. Instead, it features reformed villains – characters like Ra’s Al Ghul, Volcana, and Man-Bat – as part of Batman’s team. The series premiered on Prime Video on November 10, 2025, and is already gaining positive attention from both fans and James Gunn, who recently shared his excitement about it.
