Kevin O’Leary Thinks AI Can Replace Background Extras (and Kevin O’Leary)

As a film buff, I’m fascinated by how AI is starting to impact everything, and Kevin O’Leary – Shark Tank’s Mr. Wonderful – is all in. He argues that in certain situations, like using background actors, AI is practically indistinguishable from the real thing. He even joked about filling a scene with ‘100 Norwell Tillies’ – that’s Tilly Norwood, the AI actress that’s been causing a stir with the actors’ union. He also mentioned an AI band called ‘Velvet Sunset’ (which I think he meant was The Velvet Sundown!). But it gets even weirder – there’s now an AI version of himself! They created it in Abu Dhabi, and he’s heading back soon to refine the model even further, even looking into becoming a citizen of the UAE to really focus on this AI work. He wants ‘AI Kevin’ to sound absolutely perfect, so perfect you won’t be able to tell the difference. And that’s when he asks the big question: why pay me when you have an AI that can do the job just as well?

Marvel Studios Just Lost 10 Superheroes at Once

Pluribus Asks, Would a Better Call Saul Reunion Make You Happy?

This show, like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul before it, is filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico – and the star clearly loves it! Entertainment Weekly reports that actress Rhea Seehorn plays Carol, a romance novelist with a unique mission: to rescue people from constant happiness. Before the series begins, a virus spread worldwide, leaving everyone content and peaceful. But the trailer suggests that the world isn’t thrilled with Carol remaining unaffected.

Tom Cruise’s American Made Lands Free Streaming Home

Okay, movie fans, here’s one you’ll want to check out! Tubi is adding American Made to its lineup on November 1st. It’s a really fun, surprisingly true story – loosely based on the life of Barry Seal, played by Tom Cruise. Cruise nails the role of a former airline pilot who gets pulled into the wild world of drug smuggling for Pablo Escobar in the 80s. To avoid prison, he ends up working with the DEA, which makes for a seriously twisty plot. The supporting cast – Domhnall Gleeson, Sarah Wright, Caleb Landry Jones, and Jesse Plemons – are all fantastic. Critics really liked it too; Rotten Tomatoes gives it an 85% approval rating, so it’s definitely worth a watch!

Give Welcome to Derry This: It Has a Killer First Episode

What’s interesting about the story of It is that the way we remember it is often bigger and more powerful than the original 1986 book or any movie or TV version. The 1990 miniseries, starring Tim Curry as Pennywise, isn’t as impressive as you might remember. While Andy Muschietti’s recent two-part movie adaptation was a huge success and made Bill Skarsgård a popular actor, they aren’t considered true classics, though they did tell the story effectively. This isn’t meant as criticism, but rather an acknowledgment of how deeply the story resonates with us. Stephen King’s writing itself is solid but straightforward, but his ideas have a way of sticking with you and becoming ingrained in your mind. Through the story of the Losers’ Club, It has endured because it speaks to how violence repeats itself – how experiences from childhood can affect us as adults, mixed with the complicated feelings of growing up – and to the sad but true idea that our ability to overcome challenges is often tied to the innocence we lose as we age.
