A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: Who Is Daeron Targaryen?

The new show, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, simplifies things by removing the dragons and focusing on fewer Targaryen characters. This helps avoid overwhelming viewers with too many names and storylines. Interestingly, this also means some Targaryens, including the last one with special magical abilities, can appear without being immediately recognized.

All Creatures Great and Small Recap: Tricki Woo Lives

This week’s drama includes an X-ray machine malfunction, a sick dog, and Siegfried upsetting the locals. Every year I’m grateful this show exists – it’s a peaceful escape with relatively small problems. They even skipped over four years of World War II! It makes you wonder if the writers realized people watch to avoid stressful news and decided to fast-forward. I just need an hour to watch Mrs. Hall worry about a bad lettuce and then easily solve it by talking to Siegfried. It’s a nice break from feeling helpless while watching terrible things happen on the news. Hooray for Darrowby!

Industry Recap: A Christmas Carol

Kit Harington delivers a genuinely funny line with believable frustration. Viewers used to seeing him as the serious, heavily-clad Jon Snow in Game of Thrones will be surprised by his comedic talent, particularly when the scene requires physical comedy. He’s both vulnerable and engaging in “The Commander and the Grey Lady,” an episode similar in style to season three’s “White Mischief” and season two’s “Kitchen Season.” This episode focuses on a pivotal day in Henry Muck’s life: the day he surpasses his father’s age, knowing his father tragically died by suicide at 40.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Series-Premiere Recap: Big Ser

Dunk is a huge man – truly enormous. He’s built like a knight, though he lacks the equipment and renown. By the end of the first episode, he even gains a squire, a small, bald boy nicknamed “Egg.” Despite this, Dunk is, at heart, more childlike than Egg himself. Sometimes you just have to go to war with the people you have available.

DCU Batman Movie Gets Disappointing Casting Update From James Gunn

James Gunn has said we won’t get any news about The Brave and the Bold until a complete script is finished, explaining he can’t predict when that will be. He also mentioned they’re making good progress on The Batman – Part II and wants to avoid sharing updates about multiple Batman projects at the same time.

7 ‘Rotten’ Horror Movies With Huge Cult Followings

Many horror movies are panned by critics, but audiences often enjoy them anyway. Though, very few of these critically disliked films go on to become beloved ‘cult classics,’ gaining a large and dedicated fanbase that defies the negative reviews.

Stephen King’s $69M Sci-Fi Remake That Bombed in Theaters Is Better Than the Original in Every Way

Hollywood consistently finds success with Stephen King adaptations, with notable films appearing in every decade since the 1980s, like The Shining and Stand By Me. His stories remain popular, as evidenced by the 2025 HBO series Welcome to Derry. However, a less well-known King story, adapted for film again in 2025, didn’t perform well at the box office, despite being a significant improvement over the 1987 adaptation.

FARTCOIN: A Most Unfortunate Dip 📉

January’s returns, once so promising, are now… merely… twenty-six percent. A paltry sum, really, considering the initial enthusiasm. They spoke of a glorious first quarter, you see. Such optimism! As if the market cared for such things. 2025 ended rather quietly, and now this. A comedy of errors, wouldn’t you agree?

CBS News Finally Airs 60 Minutes Story on CECOT

In December, Bari Weiss, the editor-in-chief at CBS News, cancelled a segment just three hours before it was scheduled to air. The network initially stated it required further investigation. According to the New York Times, Weiss had requested an interview with a high-ranking Trump administration official, such as White House deputy chief of staff and homeland security advisor Stephen Miller, to present their perspective. CBS News confirmed in a statement to Reuters on Sunday that they have always intended to broadcast the segment as soon as it was prepared, and viewers can now see it along with other news stories.
