As a long-time Trek fan, I remember how exciting it was when Star Trek: Discovery landed in 2017. It wasn’t just a good show – it really breathed life back into the franchise after years of silence following the end of Enterprise in 2005. In fact, it was a huge part of what got the CBS All-Access streaming service, now Paramount+, off the ground. Discovery didn’t just revive Star Trek on TV, it proved there was still a huge appetite for it.

James Gunn’s upcoming Superman sequel, set to release after 2025, has cast Lars Eidinger as the villain Brainiac, as reported by Deadline. Eidinger is a German actor and rapper who recently appeared in films like Jay Kelly and White Noise. While he’s known for his work in European cinema, he may be a new face to many American audiences.

Starting December 19th, all ten Saw movies are now available to stream on Peacock. This means fans can watch the entire series in one place, instead of searching for each film on different streaming services. The Saw franchise has become known as one of the most frightening horror series of the 21st century.
