Okay, so the game’s getting delayed, but honestly, I’m okay with that! The team wants more time to really polish things and make sure it’s the best experience possible, which I totally appreciate. However, the show’s creator, Noah Hawley, has said they are talking about it and he’s been developing ideas. He mentioned that the show’s international success was promising, and FX likes to take its time when making decisions about renewals.

According to the store pages, the new Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut doesn’t allow players to transfer their progress or save files from the original Yakuza 0 game. The original Yakuza 0 was first released on PlayStation 4, and later on Steam and Xbox One. This Director’s Cut will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, both as a digital download and a physical copy (though physical copies may not be available in all regions).
