Microsoft Windows update mistake should be solved now. The most annoying bug is gone

Maintaining a modern, secure, and fully functional operating system is challenging. While Microsoft is pushing forward with AI features in Windows 11, and even envisioning a future beyond traditional mouse and keyboard input, it’s easy to overlook existing issues. A recent update, Windows version 25H2, addresses one such problem: the operating system was previously ignoring the “update and shut down” command, instead restarting to the login screen. This frustrating bug has now been fixed.
