As a dedicated horror gaming enthusiast, I must say that Grave Seasons and Crisol, though both belonging to the chilling realm of horror games, are as distinct as night and day. While Grave Seasons unfolds in a 2D universe, Crisol immerses me in a fully three-dimensional world. Unlike Grave Seasons, which follows the adventures of an unseen character from a third-person perspective, Crisol places me right at the heart of the action as I traverse its digital landscape in first-person view.

What sets these games apart even more is their unique approaches to horror storytelling. Grave Seasons offers a chilling take on farming sims, while Crisol seamlessly combines elements reminiscent of recent Resident Evil installments with the enigmatic allure of BioShock. Both games are set against the backdrop of a world inspired by Spanish art and folklore.

This summer, I was granted a sneak peek at these captivating titles during Summer Game Fest 2025, courtesy of Blumhouse. Despite being a relatively new player in the gaming industry, Blumhouse has managed to make waves with its association with horror’s modern titans. Their involvement serves as an exciting promise of what lies ahead from a publisher that carries the esteemed name and reputation associated with one of today’s most influential horror brands.

On the PC edition of Stellar Blade, you’ll find an array of visual upgrades such as the elimination of frame rate caps. Additionally, this version supports Nvidia DLSS 4, DLAA, and AMD FSR 3 technologies. For an even more immersive experience, PC gamers can take advantage of ultrawide screen support and the choice to activate high-resolution 4K textures.

If you haven’t heard, Suikoden Star Leap is a free-to-play game with optional in-app purchases. It showcases pixel art graphics to maintain the series’ classic look. The game allows you to interact with 108 stars and befriend them. Originally planned for iOS and Android devices, it has now been confirmed that it will also be available on PC (Steam), although a specific launch date remains undisclosed.

If you’ve previously played Hades, you might find Towa’s gameplay familiar; in this scenario, you pick a character to use the swords and another to use the staff, representing the main attacker and support respectively. Once you leave the hub, embark on a run where defeating groups of enemies grants you a bonus for your journey. As you progress, you’ll encounter decisions about which room to confront next. What type of boost would you prefer? Are you after currency that contributes to overall advancement, or do you simply require more healing options?

As a diehard Thunder fan, I’m disappointed that we lost Game 3 and find ourselves trailing once more in this series. Yet, with our talented roster, there’s still hope for a comeback and potentially clinching the series victory. For now, I can’t wait to see what NBA 2K25 predicts will transpire.
