Ann McGowan, a seasoned media professional with background at Dow Jones & Co. and NBCUniversal, has been appointed as the head of digital platforms. In her new role, she will spearhead this innovative initiative. She will be overseen by Juliana Stock, who holds the positions of both Chief Digital Officer and Chief Marketing Officer within the company. A+E Digital covers a wide range of assets such as brand-specific websites, YouTube channels, streaming video on demand platforms like A&E Crime Central, History Vault, and Lifetime Movie Club, short-form video creation, editorial newsletters, and numerous social media handles across Instagram, X, Facebook, and TikTok.

In this movie, Robert De Niro portrays George Mullen, a retired U.S. president who takes on an investigation. During one intense scene, the characters De Niro and Stevens find themselves almost touching noses as Mullen interrogates Green. According to Stevens in a recent interview for “Just for EbMaster” podcast, this confrontation was particularly effective because Mullen, a towering figure in the story until now, is suddenly standing before De Niro. It added an element of excitement to the interaction. The meeting, although not overly friendly, was exactly what one might expect – a touch of apprehension as Stevens felt somewhat intimidated by De Niro’s imposing presence.

Developed by Jason Keller, who is also a co-writer of “Ford v Ferrari,” this series centers around Wilson as Pryce Cahill, a once-promising professional golfer whose career came to an abrupt end 20 years ago. Following the breakdown of his marriage and job loss at an Indiana sports store, Pryce pins his hopes on a talented but troubled teenager named Santi (played by Peter Dager). Apple characterizes this series as a “warm-hearted, uplifting comedy” that explores the unique bonds and relationships within the world of golf like never before.

Tilda Gets Political

In the movie “Clown in a Cornfield,” the characters Katie Douglas and Carson MacCormac play father-daughter duo Quinn and Glenn, who move to the peaceful town of Kettle Springs seeking a new beginning. Unfortunately, they find a troubled community that has been struggling since the devastating fire at the cherished Baypen Corn Syrup Factory. As per an official summary, Quinn stumbles upon this fractured society.

This year’s Berlinale competition features only one documentary, “Timestamp,” which is the second film by director Gornostai following her first feature, “Stop-Zemlia.” The latter was a heartfelt coming-of-age story that won top honors in the Generation 14plus strand of the same festival in 2021 and had a multi-platform U.S. release the next year. Superficially, “Timestamp” might appear to be a departure from Gornostai’s usual style as it is an unscripted documentary, but the tender, compassionate perspective she brings to her subjects connects it to her previous work. The film’s beautiful visuals, captured by DP Oleksandr Roshchyn, also lend continuity between the two films. Above all, “Timestamp” underscores Gornostai as a gifted storyteller of youth and its complexities, showcasing her ability to portray both its struggles and its joy, even amidst difficult circumstances.
