A new trailer for the Super Mario Bros. Movie has sparked excitement among fans who believe it might finally confirm a long-running theory: that Princess Peach and Rosalina are sisters. ComicBook.com points out that Rosalina’s bigger role in the trailer, combined with the casting of Brie Larson, suggests the film will address this question, which has been debated since 2007. For years, fans, developers, and even a book within the game’s universe have hinted at a connection between the two characters, and the movie could now officially make it part of the story.
