Disney’s Star Wars Is Officially Rewriting A Beloved Prequel Character

Previews for Maul – Shadow Lord reveal that Maul is working against the Empire not long after the events of Revenge of the Sith. During the chaotic period following the Clone Wars, Maul built a powerful criminal empire and secretly led the Crimson Dawn syndicate. But he’s not just changing his role from Sith apprentice – he’s changing in other ways, too.

5 Anime Characters Who Are Just a Rip-Off of Dragon Ball’s Goku

I’ve noticed a lot of similarities between the main characters in popular action anime – the ones that really hit it big – and Goku from Dragon Ball. Some creators seem content with just copying his look – you know, the orange and blue – and giving their character a huge appetite. But others really dig deeper and borrow more from what made Goku so compelling.

Ethereum’s Legal Clarity: A Blessing or a Curse?

The SEC chairman, ever the arbiter of financial fads, has reportedly likened Ethereum to a commodity, a label as baffling as calling a loaf of bread a “non-bread edible.” Meanwhile, an investor named Paul Barron, with the fervor of a prophet, insists that ETH is now the backbone of a “new on-chain financial system,” a claim as convincing as a child’s promise to clean their room. One wonders if the SEC’s sudden enlightenment is born of genuine insight or a desperate attempt to keep pace with the chaos.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Promises Some Rebellious Souls

The new season of RHOA will feature returning cast members Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Drew Sidora, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Angela Oakley, and Kelli Ferrell, with Cynthia Bailey appearing as a friend of the show. The trailer’s most talked-about moment comes from Kelli, who jokingly claims to have dated every Nigerian man in Atlanta – a line many are calling iconic. Brit Eady, who only appeared on one season, won’t be returning. Critics previously noted her dramatic style was better suited for a different type of reality show. Season premieres April 5th at 8 p.m., so get ready for some drama!

Robert Carradine, Lizzie McGuire Star, Dead at 71

Growing up, it felt like everyone in Robert Carradine’s family was in the movies – his dad, John Carradine, was a really versatile character actor, known for everything from spooky horror films to Westerns and even Shakespeare! Funny enough, Robert wasn’t interested in acting at all. He dreamed of being a race car driver! He actually started with a small role in a John Wayne Western called The Cowboys back in 1972, and while it didn’t stop him from racing cars for years, it did make him realize he loved being on screen. Most people probably remember him as Lewis Skolnick, one of the nerds in Revenge of the Nerds, and later as the hilarious dad, Sam McGuire, on Lizzie McGuire with Hilary Duff. He even started filming a reboot of Lizzie McGuire for Hulu, but sadly it was canceled. Thankfully, he and the original cast got together for a fun table read of an old episode in 2020, which was a real treat for fans like me.
