We created this list by choosing movies that share similar themes and genres with Sisu. We’ve excluded the new sequel, Sisu: Road to Revenge, to offer a wider variety of options. While these films might not have the exact same elements—like Nazis or gold prospectors—we encourage you to consider them and broaden your movie horizons. We also want to give a shout-out to Nobody (2021), First Blood (1982), and Eastern Promises (2007), though they didn’t quite make the main list.

Watching Tony Soprano, you quickly realize his life is a whirlwind of stress and violence. But then you see the ducks. It’s a brief, beautiful moment of calm, and at first, it seems like just that – a peaceful escape. However, as the show unfolds, those ducks become so much more. They’re a window into Tony’s soul, hinting at the darkness he’s capable of – a man who’d happily break someone’s legs over a debt or even arrange for someone to disappear into witness protection. The symbolism is rich and complex, ultimately revealing the core fears that drive this incredibly flawed, yet fascinating, character.

Taylor Sheridan’s show, Landman, has quickly become a popular success since its release, earning praise from both critics and viewers. It’s broken viewership records for the streaming service it’s on. While Sheridan’s realistic and often dark Western style isn’t for all tastes, it’s found a dedicated audience as people have gotten used to the changing landscape of TV and streaming.

CBS hasn’t announced which episodes will be re-aired, but there will be ten in total. With a cast of 24 people, not everyone will get a lot of screen time. Interestingly, two current contestants on Survivor 49 are also likely to appear in these reruns. CBS can easily group some players together who have competed against each other before – for instance, White, Angelina Keeley, and Christian Hubicki all played on David vs. Goliath. They might even re-air the Micronesia episode where Cirie Fields tricked Ozzy Lusth into not using his immunity idol before voting him out – a good way to stir things up before the cast reunites!

While at a ScreenRant panel for Midnight Mass at Motor City Comic Con 2025, Mike Flanagan discussed his take on Clayface and how it differs from Matt Reeves’ vision in The Batman Part II. Flanagan clarified that his inspiration didn’t come from Reeves’ universe, as he hadn’t seen any of their work when he initially developed his story for DC Studios. He went on to explain his creative process.
