The highlight of the Homestar Runner franchise was arguably Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People, a five-part adventure game released in 2008. Created with the Brothers Chaps – the creators of Homestar Runner – the game felt like playing an interactive cartoon, featuring their signature writing, art style, and voice acting. Players helped Strong Bad with his wacky plans – everything from entering band contests to trying (and failing) to take over the world – letting fans enjoy his over-the-top personality in a fresh way, while revisiting beloved locations like Strong Bad’s house and Bubs’ shop.

These shoes, normally $80, will be on sale tomorrow, November 25th. The company created them specifically for gamers.

The new trailer for Pokopia starts with a strikingly damaged Pokemon Center and a classic Pokedex, immediately sparking fan theories. Many believe the game takes place on Cinnabar Island from the original Pokemon games (Red, Blue, and Yellow). In later games, it was revealed that Cinnabar Island was largely destroyed by a volcanic eruption, leaving only a few buildings standing – including a Pokemon Center, which closely resembles the one shown in the trailer.

I’m so excited! The Field Museum here in Chicago just announced they’re bringing the Pokemon Fossil Exhibition to us! It’s going to be open from May 22, 2026, to April 11, 2027. Apparently, it started in Japan back in 2021, and it’s this really cool mix of Pokemon that look like fossils and actual prehistoric fossils – it sounds amazing!

Ubisoft recently announced that the Assassin’s Creed franchise had a very successful quarter, boosted by sales of the latest game, Shadows, and older titles. Players have spent over 211 million days playing Assassin’s Creed games so far this year, a 35% increase compared to the average over the last two years.

A lot of players were worried the game would rely on ‘gacha’ mechanics – where you pay for random items – even with a purchase price. But those who played it early, including us, can confirm that Solo Leveling ARISE OVERDRIVE is a traditional pay-to-play game. You can unlock everything in the game, including characters, simply by playing and collecting resources. Some players have mentioned, though, that gathering those materials can feel a bit repetitive.

Landing a role in a commercial is a great opportunity for actors and models, but many ads actually feature real, everyday people and their genuine reactions.
