Italian indie devs at Fix-a-Bug spent over three years working on their latest project. Known in English as The Crazy Hyper-Dungeon Chronicles, it blends turn-based combat with real-time dungeon crawling in an endlessly replayable adventure.
In a video posted after the latest episode, Mike White hinted that the next season of The White Lotus might move away from the ocean-related deaths seen in previous seasons. He mentioned wanting to explore different settings, but also joked that there’s always room for more murders at the White Lotus hotels. According to Variety, the production team is currently scouting locations in Paris, including Le Lutetia and the Ritz, and is also considering beach areas in Monaco and Nice. And, someone suggested that Wanda Sykes, who lives in France, would be perfect for a dramatic role and deserves an Emmy!
Creature features are a consistently popular part of the horror genre. Starting with films like Universal’s 1913 release of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the genre has evolved alongside improvements in special effects – from practical makeup and costumes to CGI – but it’s always been driven by creative stories. Recent movies like The Host and A Quiet Place, along with the rise of giant monster films (kaiju) and new installments in franchises like Alien and Predator, continue to innovate. With remakes of classic monster movies like Frankenstein and David Bruckner’s The Blob on the way, there’s still a wealth of exciting creature features to discover.
As of now, it looks like services are starting to come back online. Xbox Support announced on social media that users should be able to access the Xbox Store and manage their accounts again, and that they’re continuing to work on full recovery. They’ll share updates on their social media and at support.xbox.com when available. However, the outage caused some confusion, as illustrated by a post on the Minecraft subreddit asking why an offline game requires an online launcher. The most popular response highlighted that the issue stems from the game needing authorization to run.

You’re free to choose any name for the main character in Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake without affecting the story. However, Square Enix has officially referred to the hero as Gawain in promotional materials. Interestingly, an older version of the game, the Dragon Quest II CD Theater, calls the hero Allen.

Square Enix has confirmed that certain features won’t be added to the current version of Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. While difficulty settings and improvements to how the game renders graphics might be added in a future update, finding the hidden locations and treasure chests is likely too much work to implement. Hopefully, though, we’ll see some changes down the line.
Putting business considerations aside, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake came out this week, and the extra content suggests Dragon Quest II is designed to conclude the story arc started in the remakes. Without giving away any spoilers, the fact that Square Enix rewards players with bonus save data in Dragon Quest I & II for having save files from Dragon Quest III on the same platform makes it a good idea to play Dragon Quest III first.
