Even though “After You” covered about 30 years, the show used young actors for flashbacks featuring Lester and Mabel. The other residents of the Arconia were played by the same actors throughout the episode, using wigs and visual effects to make them look younger. Most of these actors had clear changes to their appearance, especially their hair, but Nicky surprisingly didn’t seem to age much – he just had slightly grayer hair in later scenes. It’s easy to think this is an oversight, but Nicky isn’t the only character who doesn’t appear to age; Sebastian “Bash” Steed also maintains a remarkably consistent look.

In a recent interview on the *Phase Hero* podcast, Brad Winderbaum, head of streaming, television, and animation at Marvel Studios, hinted that Krysten Ritter will reprise her role as Jessica Jones again, beyond just appearing in Season 2 of *Daredevil: Born Again*. When host Brandon Davies asked about a possible *Jessica Jones: Born Again* series, Winderbaum suggested it could happen “sooner than you think.”

Mabel was thrilled to tell Oliver and Charles about a special invitation she received, and they were excited for her, though their reaction focused on the idea that a gathering of women would inevitably involve lots of gossip and potentially useful information. The funniest part – what really made me laugh – was when Mabel jokingly suggested bringing tampons as party favors, and Charles immediately scolded her, telling her not to use such language.
