She’s not quite like a character from the Addams Family, but with her long hair and flowing dresses, she sometimes resembles Cousin Itt wearing oversized sunglasses.

With the recent conclusion of a project, I had the chance to ask someone involved how it felt to be the lead creator on a significant comic book story like Ultimate Endgame. It’s well-known in the comic book world that there’s a special feeling associated with being chosen to write a major crossover event.

In the film The Rip, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck play Miami vice detectives who routinely raid drug stashes. When their lieutenant is unexpectedly murdered, Damon’s character, Dane Dumars, takes over leadership. Amidst growing concerns about police corruption and the mysterious killing, Dane receives a tip about a large sum of money. The raid reveals far more cash than anticipated. Keeping the operation secret, Dane confiscates his team’s phones and orders them to carefully consider the implications of their discovery.

The final season of Game of Thrones was criticized for feeling rushed and for not giving satisfying conclusions to its characters. However, it turns out that ending might have been better than the one originally envisioned by the author of the books the show was based on.

The partnership will transform his comic book series, Exquisite Corpses, into a new format. They also plan to create a full-length movie based on his short story, Room Service, which was previously made into a short film released earlier this year.

Netflix has become a major force in television, and will likely be in film once it acquires Warner Bros. But it’s also a great place to find shows from the past.
