A Full Star Wars: KOTOR 2 Remake Was In Development – Report

Recent legal documents, as reported by Game File, show that Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games were developing a complete remake of Knights of the Old Republic II (KOTOR 2). The project, internally known as “Juliet,” aimed to modernize the beloved 2004 RPG and was being worked on at the same time as the KOTOR remake, which Saber Interactive confirms is still in progress. However, unlike the KOTOR remake, development on KOTOR 2’s remake appears to have stopped as recently as March 2025. Lucasfilm Games VP Douglas Reilly stated in court testimony that if the remake had been completed, it would have included the downloadable content originally planned for the 2022 Nintendo Switch announcement.
