Overwatch is teaming up with Hello Kitty & Friends for a special crossover event! Here’s a rundown of what you can expect.
Do you remember when the official Overwatch social media account updated its profile picture to the Talon symbol? It looks like that change was a hint at what’s coming next for the game.
The recent Spotlight event showed players can look forward to not only new characters, stories, and events, but also new cosmetic items.
And on that note, things are about to get even more fun and a little crazy, because we’re partnering with Sanrio soon!
Overwatch x Hello Kitty & Friends crossover release date
The Overwatch and Hello Kitty & Friends collaboration will launch on February 10, 2026, and the special skins will be available for purchase in the game shop until February 23, 2026.
In the game, crossovers are usually temporary events. We’ve seen this with previous partnerships like those featuring Persona, My Hero Academia, LE SSERAFIM, and more.

This crossover is looking to be a major event for the game, and it’s especially exciting because it’s the first time our support hero, Lucio, is getting a collaborative skin. The Keroppi theme is a perfect fit!
We don’t know the exact prices for the complete package or each skin just yet. Blizzard usually announces pricing details closer to the release date, and we’ll update this information as soon as we have it.
