Viz Media, the company that brings English versions of popular anime and manga like *Naruto* and *Bleach*, is distributing Season 3 of *One-Punch Man*. Fans have waited over five years for the continuation of the series, which last aired in July 2019. The new season will continue the story, adapting the long-awaited “Monster Association” arc.
The first season of *One-Punch Man* was created by the well-known animation studio Madhouse, famous for shows like *Death Note* and *Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End*. Starting with Season 2, production moved to J.C.Staff, and fans immediately noticed a difference. Many viewers found Season 2 disappointing because the animation and fight scenes weren’t as strong, which caused the show’s popularity to decrease.
Season 3 of *One-Punch Man* has faced some challenges, including a lack of previews and a late announcement about the new animation team. Fans were also disappointed with the appointment of Nagai as director, as he doesn’t have much experience with action animation.
