One-Punch Man Season 3 Release Date & Streaming Platforms: Everything You Need to Know
Viz Media, the company that brings English versions of popular anime and manga like *Naruto* and *Bleach*, is distributing Season 3 of *One-Punch Man*. Fans have waited over five years for the continuation of the series, which last aired in July 2019. The new season will continue the story, adapting the long-awaited “Monster Association” arc.
The first season of *One-Punch Man* was created by the well-known animation studio Madhouse, famous for shows like *Death Note* and *Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End*. Starting with Season 2, production moved to J.C.Staff, and fans immediately noticed a difference. Many viewers found Season 2 disappointing because the animation and fight scenes weren’t as strong, which caused the show’s popularity to decrease.
Season 3 of *One-Punch Man* has faced some challenges, including a lack of previews and a late announcement about the new animation team. Fans were also disappointed with the appointment of Nagai as director, as he doesn’t have much experience with action animation. However, Nagai responded by promising that he and his team are working incredibly hard to make the new season great.
One-Punch Man follows Saitama, who became a hero as a hobby. After training for three years, he gained incredible strength and can defeat enemies with a single punch. Now, alongside his cyborg apprentice Genos, Saitama joins the Hero Association as a professional hero. However, monsters are appearing more often, suggesting a prophecy of Earth’s destruction might come true. Adding to the chaos, a mysterious villain known as Garou emerges.
You can watch the first two seasons of *One-Punch Man* on Hulu in the United States. The manga series, created by ONE and illustrated by Yusuke Murata, is available to read digitally on the Viz Media app.
