The creator behind a popular series has predicted the next big television hit, and it’s a show that many manga enthusiasts weren’t expecting.
Recently on X (formerly Twitter), ONE publicly praised the manga Life-Man by Nanda Tou and artist Ayaki. He’s a big fan of the series and even wrote the introduction for the first volume, explaining that the manga’s portrayal of hardworking people inspired him to persevere through life’s challenges.
One-Punch Man‘s ONE Praises New Shonen Jump Manga Life-Man
Life-Man first appeared on Shonen Jump+ in November 2025 and quickly gained a loyal following. The story centers around Lifestyle Man, a part-time superhero who juggles a regular job where he frequently makes noticeable errors with his duties of helping anyone in need.
As of today, Life-Man has 19 published chapters, the latest being “Sushi Day is Here!” which came out on March 27, 2026. The series has been well-received by both critics and fans, and its popularity continues to grow with each new release. The first collected volume was published in Japan on April 3, 2026.
Despite the creator promoting their work online, fans are eagerly waiting for news about the continuation of the One-Punch Man anime series, produced by J.C.Staff. Season 3 of One-Punch Man initially excited viewers when it launched in October 2025, but many were disappointed with the new episodes.
The recent episodes, “Motley Heroes” and “Counterstrike,” received unusually low ratings, setting new lows for the One-Punch Man series. “Motley Heroes” initially scored a 1.4/10 on IMDb, while “Counterstrike” followed with a 2.4 – a slight improvement, but still a very poor score.
Wow, the reaction to One-Punch Man Season 3 was pretty intense – the director, Shinpei Nagai, actually stepped away from social media completely! But I’m still holding out hope for the series. I’m really excited about the possibility of One-Punch Man getting back to its best with the new Season 3 episodes planned for 2027.
