Netflix has released a new trailer for One Piece Season 2, and the series’ creator, Eiichiro Oda, has shared some exciting hints about what’s coming up.
Netflix’s live-action version of One Piece surprised everyone by successfully bringing the popular manga and anime to life, even winning over skeptical fans.
I first got into One Piece with Season 1, and it was awesome! It’s all about Luffy, this super energetic guy who wants to be the Pirate King. The season basically showed him gathering his crew – his future ‘brothers’ – as they all set out to find this legendary treasure. It was a really fun start to the whole adventure!
The series began in August 2023, and the Straw Hat Pirates will be back for more adventures next month. The creator of the original story also has a message for fans before the new season starts.

We’re nearly finished! With the first season, we directly addressed the big question everyone had: could One Piece actually be made into a live-action series? The incredible response – reaching the top 10 in 93 countries and becoming number one in 46 – answered that question for us.
Building on the success of Season 1 and its incredible production team, we’re excited to announce Season 2, which will take us into the Grand Line – the most dangerous and challenging sea in the world. This means everything you expected based on Season 1 will be turned upside down.
This season is packed with exciting moments – powerful characters with unique abilities, a brand new giant race, cute creatures, intense action, and amazing special effects. Get ready to be completely drawn into a live-action adventure unlike any other.
We hope this show inspires everyone with a love for adventure, no matter where they are! We’re just one month away from launching – get excited!
What is One Piece Season 2 about?
According to Eiichiro Oda, the second season of the live-action One Piece will follow Luffy and his crew as they enter the Grand Line. Here’s the official description of what’s to come:
One Piece is back for Season 2 with even stronger enemies and more dangerous adventures! Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hats, are embarking on a journey across the Grand Line, a famous sea filled with both incredible challenges and amazing discoveries.
