Forget breast milk ice cream – Ohio’s Great Wolf Lodge is now challenging it for the title of most unusual ice cream flavor.

For a limited time, the resort is offering a unique Ranch Milkshake at all its locations, including Sandusky. It’s a surprisingly tasty blend of vanilla ice cream and real ranch dressing – exactly as you’d imagine!

But the surprises don’t end with the shake itself! It’s piled high with crispy chicken, carrots, and celery, then topped with whipped cream and a unique sweet and salty lime coating around the rim. The company suggests you can enjoy it by sipping or even dipping – they’re really embracing the ranch flavor!

A unique dessert will be available across the country from March 5th to March 20th. And on National Ranch Day, March 10th, you can get one for just $3.10.

The new drink is already getting a lot of attention online because of its unusual sweet and salty taste. Although both ranch dressing and ice cream are creamy, combining them with chicken and veggies creates a truly unique – and surprising – combination.

Ranch milkshake enters the weird food trend

Great Wolf Lodge is famous for its family water park resorts, not trendy food challenges. However, this particular milkshake seems designed more for Instagram photos and online buzz than for satisfying your sweet tooth.

Ohio now boasts one of the most unusual milkshakes of 2026, and whether it’s a hit or just a fleeting novelty remains to be seen. It’s already being compared to the infamous breast-milk flavored milkshake created by Oddfellows.

It’s not the first time a savory sauce has inspired a sweet treat. Back in 2025, Smoothie King and Heinz collaborated to create a surprisingly tasty ketchup-flavored smoothie.

KFC also got in on the action in the form of a limited-time Gravy Gelato.
