Official Bigfoot investigator reports ‘sincere and credible’ sasquatch sighting

An investigator with the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization believes a recent Bigfoot sighting in Pennsylvania is likely genuine and trustworthy. Several people reported seeing a large, dark, human-shaped figure near Interstate 80.

WTAJ reports that a retired civil engineer and Air Force veteran saw something unusual around 5:30 p.m. on October 4th, near mile marker 169, just northeast of Bellefonte. He described the figure to investigators as being taller than a person, with a clear head and shoulders that rose above the vehicle in front of him.

The witness was most struck by how the creature moved – quickly and smoothly, almost as if it was gliding across the highway. He said it crossed all four lanes in roughly three seconds and then disappeared into the woods without having to climb over the guardrail. He remembered thinking, “What on earth is it doing?! It’s going to get hit!” as it first stepped onto the road.

Others reported seeing something unusual that day too, including an experienced hunter who was certain it wasn’t a bear. The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO) report indicated the sighting occurred about 11.5 miles from Bald Eagle State Park, close to a wooded ridge connecting to Nittany Mountain – an area Bigfoot enthusiasts often believe is a likely habitat.

The organization labeled the account “Class A” because it was based on a direct sighting. Investigators found the main witness believable, citing their history and how they behaved during questioning.
