Octopath Traveler 0: How to reach the hidden island of Agapea and complete An Indestructible Flame

You’re close to finishing Octopath Traveler II! You’ve gathered all eight travelers, but you might be stuck on Therion’s final personal quest, ‘An Indestructible Flame,’ because the objective isn’t appearing. Also, in Wishvale’s construction menu, you may notice a Strange House that needs a Strange Key, which is found in Agapea.

Many players are wondering how to finish the quest “An Indestructible Flame” and where to find Agapea. It seems these questions are connected – solving one will likely lead you to the other.

Okay, so listen up, because this is important. You absolutely need to find “A Priestess’s Journal.” It’s hidden in the Skies of Vanity, which is part of the final dungeon in Heavens. Don’t skip it!

This journal is located just northwest of the central area, tucked away at a dead end along one of the paths. It can be easy to overlook, especially if you haven’t already spotted it.

If you can’t find the journal right away, keep playing the story – it will eventually appear. You don’t need a new game to read it, though. Once you do, you’ll start the side quest called “The Hidden Isle”.

You’ve likely got everything you need from this page. Just follow the on-screen markers for “The Hidden Isle” to reach Agapea. This should unlock the “Master of Orsterra” trophy and achievement, which is awarded for visiting all locations – unless you’ve still missed an island or dungeon somewhere.

In Agapea, you’ll find more rewards and shops related to Path Actions. After finishing “The Hidden Isle” quest, you’ll start “An Indestructible Flame,” which needs both Sazantos and Rondo. This new quest involves defeating the boss Demon’s Blade Curse, but you should be well-equipped to handle it by now.

After finishing the main story, beating the final boss, constructing the Strange House, and adding Isla to your team, you’ll unlock access to the Tavern of Nil through the Strange House. This is where you can obtain the remaining Music Scores to complete your collection.
