Netflix’s series Nobody Wants This was quickly renewed for a second season after its debut last fall, making it a highly anticipated release for 2025. Despite a less enthusiastic reception to the second season, the show has been renewed for a third installment. It’s fun to see Kristen Bell share the news with her colleagues in such a funny way.
What makes the show, starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, so good is its perfect mix of funny moments, genuine emotion, and relatable relationships. Luckily, the announcement about the show being renewed captures that same spirit. You can see Bell video chatting with her co-stars – including her on-screen love interest, potential future in-laws, her sister, and the show’s creator, Erin Foster – to share the exciting news. One of the calls includes a playful surprise, typical of the show’s humor. Check it out below!

What really makes this Netflix show great is how well the actors get along, both on and off camera – it’s perfect for binge-watching! Plus, the funny writing and playful moments (like Sasha’s dance to “7 Rings” and Justine Lupe’s prank on Bell) are a definite bonus. I especially loved how Bell shared what she learned with her friends and then tried to tell Foster – it was both adorable and hilarious.
Now that Joanne and Noah are past the initial excitement of their relationship, what challenges and growth can we expect next? The second season focused on them dealing with the realities of a long-term relationship, moving beyond first dates and instant attraction. They consistently faced their problems directly and always found their way back to each other. It looks like season 3 will continue to explore this theme as their individual stories unfold.

Fans of ‘Gossip Girl’ and ‘The O.C.’ are going crazy for the unexpected pairing of Blair Waldorf and Seth Cohen in the new series ‘Nobody Wants This,’ and they’re absolutely loving it!
Joanne is still processing her feelings about being Jewish, and that could lead her to connect more with Noah’s community. Noah, on the other hand, is starting to understand that he needs to be more open and adaptable to achieve his goals. However, things could get tricky because Morgan, Sasha, and Esther are all facing important challenges in their relationships right now.
I’m really enjoying the show and hoping it stays funny as the plot gets more complex. That’s why I quickly finished both seasons! For now, Kristen Bell’s adorable video announcing the renewal is enough to tide me over while we all wait for Season 3. If you haven’t seen it yet, Seasons 1 and 2 of Nobody Wants This are available on Netflix.
