Moon Studios revealed that a large co-op multiplayer update, called No Rest for the Wicked Together, will be released for the action RPG No Rest for the Wicked on January 22, 2026.

No Rest for the Wicked is out now on Steam Early Access, and will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in the future.

Moon Studios, the team behind the popular Ori games and the upcoming action RPG No Rest for the Wicked, recently shared updates and a look at what’s coming next in their ‘Wicked Inside’ livestream series. No Rest for the Wicked is currently available in Early Access on PC through Steam and is 30% off for the Winter Sale.
Today, the developers revealed the first look at co-op gameplay and shared details about the upcoming multiplayer update, called No Rest for the Wicked Together. This major update will finally add features players have been requesting, including cooperative combat, improved weapons, shared resources and homesteads, and more. Up to four players can team up and play together in shared, persistent worlds. Studio Director Thomas Mahler and the team announced the update will launch on January 22, 2026, and a public beta test with content from the update is available now for all game owners.
In No Rest for the Wicked, the latest game from Moon Studios, you play as a Cerim – a member of a powerful, holy order. Your mission is to stop the Pestilence, an ancient plague that’s ravaging the troubled island of Isola Sacra. Explore a beautifully dark and painted world, fighting against corrupted creatures, dangerous scavengers, and bizarre beasts. As you progress, you’ll develop your Cerim from a vulnerable survivor into a formidable warrior, mastering a variety of weapons, magical enhancements, and clever strategies to defeat your enemies.
