No Man’s Sky Boss Reacts To Once Human Premium Cosmetic

No Man’s Sky and Once Human are very different games, but players have spotted something interesting: an item from No Man’s Sky seems to be reused as a paid cosmetic in Once Human. Sean Murray, the head of No Man’s Sky’s developer, Hello Games, has acknowledged the similarity, though he doesn’t seem too worried about it.

Reddit users have pointed out a striking resemblance between the base teleport module in No Man’s Sky and an item in Once Human. Aside from a few cosmetic differences – like the addition of an exercise bike – the two objects appear nearly identical.

It looks like assets from No Man’s Sky (created by Hello Games) are being sold within the game Once Human. Gothalion has been notified about this.

Murray pointed out that both objects are missing rivets, a detail the Hello Games team unintentionally omitted from the model used when looking at the base teleport module from afar. He jokingly said it was a mistake on their part.

jokes on them – we forgot to LOD those rivets 😅

Things are absolutely buzzing in No Man’s Sky right now! Everyone’s been showing off their crazy ship designs online, and honestly, some of them are mind-blowing. It’s awesome to see so many people enjoying the update!

This year, Hello Games brought No Man’s Sky to the new Switch 2 console and released the Beacon update. This update lets players manage and grow planetary settlements, and it adds new robot inhabitants called Autophage to towns across the game.
