Nioh 3’s Steelbook Launch Edition Is Just $70

Team Ninja, the creators of Ninja Gaiden and Rise of the Ronin, are continuing their streak of releases with Nioh 3, coming to PS5 on February 6, 2026. You can pre-order the game now, and a limited Steelbook Launch Edition is available for $70. Pre-ordering also gets you bonus downloadable content when the game launches.

Nioh 3 Preorder Bonuses

There are different bonuses depending on how you preorder Nioh 3. If you buy the physical Steelbook Launch Edition, you’ll receive a special steel case with unique artwork, plus two in-game charms: the Lucky Tanuki Netsuke and the Kusanagi Netsuke. This edition is limited, so preordering is recommended if you want it. A standard physical copy is also available, but it won’t include the steel case or the extra in-game items.

If you buy any version of Nioh 3 – either a physical copy or a digital download – before February 19, 2026, you’ll also receive the exclusive Hellfrost Warrior and Hellfrost Ninja armor sets as a special early purchase bonus.

If you preorder the game digitally, you’ll receive a special Early Purchase bonus, along with three exclusive in-game items: the Hellfire Warrior outfit, the Hellfire Ninja outfit, and the Scampuss Furball Netsuke charm.

If you like playing games digitally or on PC, you can get the Nioh 3 Digital Deluxe Edition for $110. It includes the full game, a Season Pass that will give you access to two downloadable content packs coming out later, and a variety of in-game items like weapons and accessories. Nioh 3 is a fast-action RPG, similar to other games in the genre but generally faster-paced. You play as Tokugawa, a character you can fully customize, and battle dangerous Yokai creatures. This time around, you can choose to fight as either a Samurai or a Ninja, each with a unique playstyle. As a Samurai, you can recover stamina after attacks and charge up powerful finishing moves. The game also features a brand-new parry system for more strategic combat.

Choosing the Ninja class focuses on quick, evasive moves and fast attacks. Instead of traditional weapon styles, you’ll use ninja tools and special abilities. For example, you can create a clone with Mist to confuse enemies, or quickly move behind them for a powerful attack. While each class has its own equipment, you can switch between them during combat to adjust your strategy. Familiar features like guardian spirit transformations, Soul Cores, and Yokai abilities are also returning. The game takes place in a dangerous world inspired by dark samurai folklore, filled with evil spirits, and your adventure will reveal hidden truths as you head towards a devastating event called the Crucible.

While Nioh 3 is coming soon, it’s not the only action RPG in the style of the Souls series launching in early 2026. Code Vein 2 will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S starting January 30, 2026, and will cost $70. If you pre-order, you’ll receive the Twin Fangs of the Lone Wolf weapon and a special face paint cosmetic. Those who buy the Digital Deluxe, Ultimate, or Collector’s Edition will also get to play the game three days early.
