Koei Tecmo revealed a new trailer for Nioh 3 at The Game Awards 2025. The trailer features more gameplay footage and also announced that a public demo will be available on PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam) starting January 29th.
The demo includes a chance to earn the Twin-Snake Helmet by completing it within a specific timeframe. This is the same helmet players previously unlocked in the PS5 Alpha Demo. While PS5 players have another opportunity to get it, this marks the first time PC players can earn the reward.
Watch the new trailer with voiceovers in both Japanese and English right here. Nioh 3 will launch on February 6th for both PlayStation 5 and PC (through Steam) and will be available globally at the same time.

At The Game Awards 2025, KOEI TECMO America and Team NINJA announced a demo for their upcoming action RPG, Nioh 3, will be available January 29, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Steam for Windows PC. A new trailer also revealed exclusive bonuses for players who purchase the game early, before its official release on February 6, 2026.
Players can test their skills and prepare for their time-traveling mission to save Japan with a new demo, available for both solo play and online multiplayer with up to three players. Progress made in the demo can be carried over to the full game, letting players continue their quest to become Shogun. More information about the demo will be shared soon.
We’ve also announced some extra rewards for players who pre-order the game! They’ll receive special armor sets based on characters from previous titles: the “Youngblood Armor (Samurai)” inspired by William from Nioh, and the “Lone Wolf’s Armor (Ninja)” inspired by Hiddy from Nioh 2. You’ll unlock these by redeeming the “Hellfrost Armor Set” pre-order bonus within the game.
