How to access DLC in Nioh 3
You can find and activate your DLC bonuses in the game’s Shrine menu, under the Preparations tab and then Boons. If you don’t see items you’ve purchased, double-check that they’re fully downloaded. On PlayStation 5, go to Manage Game and Add-ons. On Steam, make sure the DLC box is checked in the game’s properties.

Where to claim the Nioh 3 pre-order bonus and the Demo reward
You can find the bonus DLC for pre-ordering and completing the demo under the “Boons” section of the “Preparations” menu at the Shrine. If you finished the demo before February 15th, you received the “Twin-Snake Helmet.” You can still get it in the full game by defeating Jakotsu-baba before February 15th – it will drop as a guaranteed reward. After February 15th, the helmet will be a rare drop from Jakotsu-baba.

Can you earn the Nioh 3 DLC content in-game without buying the DLC?
Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have released a guide detailing how to unlock the downloadable content (DLC) and what you need to do to earn it. You can see the chart below.
| Bonus | Purchased/Owned | Not Purchased/Not owned |
| Twin Snake Helmet (demo bonus) | Rare drop from Jakotsu-baba | Rare drop from Jakotsu-baba |
| Early Purchase Bonus (Hellfrost) | Second playthrough onward | No |
| Early Purchase Bonus (William + Hiddy) | Second playthrough onward | No |
| Digital Deluxe Edition | Second playthrough onward | No |
| Digital pre-order bonus | Second playthrough onward | No |
| Season Pass bonus | Second playthrough onward | No |
| SteelBook Bonus DLC | Second playthrough onward | No |
The Digital Deluxe Edition comes with the Season Pass. If you buy the Deluxe Edition, you’ll automatically get the Season Pass bonus. You can earn the Twin-Snake Helmet by completing the game demo before February 15th. You can also get it as a guaranteed reward for defeating Jakotsu-baba in the full game before February 15th. After that date, Jakotsu-baba will still drop the helmet, but it will be a rare item.
Nioh 3 has launched on both PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam). You can find Kite’s review here and my thoughts on playing it on PC handhelds and PS5 here.
