Nintendo Announces Partner Direct Showcase For February 5

Nintendo fans won’t have to wait much longer for news, as a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase is coming soon. Many are hoping this showcase will finally reveal an update on the highly anticipated game from FromSoftware.

Nintendo’s 2026 schedule is looking grim. While there are some first-party titles in the works, they’re very much in the B-tier, such as new Mario Tennis and Yoshi games. The biggest title by far is Pokémon Pokopia, but fans are expecting way more from the franchise, considering 2026 marks the 30th anniversary.

Nintendo has announced a Partner Showcase event taking place on February 5, 2026, at 6 AM Pacific Time, 9 AM Eastern Time, or 2 PM GMT. The roughly thirty-minute show will highlight games from developers other than Nintendo itself.

Nintendo Is Holding Partner Showcase Direct On February 5

What can we expect to see at the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase? With the release schedule for the new Switch looking pretty empty right now, hopefully Nintendo will reveal a lot of new games to build excitement for the hardware.

Hopefully, there will be plenty of new reveals, given the Switch 2’s schedule looks extremely bare.

Gamers are eagerly anticipating The Duskbloods, an upcoming fantasy multiplayer game from FromSoftware. While it’s scheduled for release in 2026, details about the game are currently very limited, with only a brief reveal trailer available.

A release of Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition is also a possibility. Plans for a Switch 2 version were put on hold after early demos showed it didn’t run well. We’re hoping to see an improved version with a confirmed release date soon.

Beyond The Duskbloods, we’re also looking forward to games like Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata, and there’s talk of a Monster Hunter Wilds port coming to the Switch 2. Aside from Capcom and FromSoftware, it’s hard to predict what other announcements might be made, which makes the upcoming reveals even more thrilling.
