Popular streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has said he’s stepping away from broadcasting for now. He explained that he’s disappointed with the way the game Arc Raiders is currently shaping up, which led to his decision.
As a big fan of Arc Raiders, I’ve been really bummed to hear about all the hacking issues the game’s been having lately. It’s been a rough few weeks with players dealing with those problems in Embark Studios’ extraction shooter.
Cheaters are ruining the game for many players, and those players are expressing their frustration online.
A well-known streamer on Arc is protesting and won’t stream until the platform addresses some issues.
Ninja calls Arc Raiders “literally unplayable” due to cheaters
Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, who was once best known for playing Fortnite, now primarily streams Arc Raiders after the game launched in late 2025.
Cheating has become a huge problem in the game, to the point where even a dedicated player is unable to enjoy it. It’s gotten so frustrating that he’s stopped streaming gameplay altogether.
During an April 8th Twitch stream, he stated he wasn’t interested in trying out Arc and would only play League of Legends for the foreseeable future. He clarified that if he did stream anything else, it would be League or a sports-related program. He wasn’t kidding, and mentioned he might play League again soon, or take a break for a week or so.
Ninja explained that he’s been having trouble with people who watch his streams to figure out where he is in games, and then unfairly eliminate him using cheats.
I was really enjoying Arc, it was a lot of fun. But then the cheating started becoming a serious problem, especially with people watching my stream and using that information to gain an unfair advantage. It got to the point where it made the game impossible to play. I don’t have the motivation to play anything else right now.”
When Ninja revealed his news, people had varying reactions. However, discussions about cheating in Arc Raiders’ player-versus-player mode and competitive matches have been ongoing on the game’s subreddit and other social media sites since early 2026.
The team at Embark Studios has repeatedly responded to these issues, vowing to make major improvements to prevent cheating and offering refunds to players who lost items due to hackers.
The recent updates haven’t fixed the issue, which is upsetting players and causing some to stop playing until it’s resolved.
