Ninja quits Marathon in one hour after dying to bot

When the game Marathon launched, popular streamer Ninja tried it out, but quickly stopped playing and ended his broadcast after being defeated by one of the game’s computer-controlled enemies.

Even though Marathon has become very popular on Steam, people have mixed feelings about it. Some players enjoy its challenging, intense style of gameplay as an extraction shooter, but others find the more relaxed experience of Arc Raiders more appealing.

Popular streamer Ninja wasn’t very happy with the recent free test period for the game, known as Server Slam.

When March 5th arrived, he decided to try playing Tau Ceti again, but he didn’t play for very long that session.

Ninja “can’t stand” Marathon after just one hour

After playing Arc Raiders for a few hours on his stream, he decided to try out a new shooter. He told his viewers he was going to play solo and wanted to approach the game with an open mind, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to play something brand new that had just been released.

I was really impressed with Ninja’s start to the match! He quickly got a couple of eliminations, taking down other players, and then managed to get away with some really good loot. It was a strong opening for him!

Things quickly went downhill about an hour into the game. He entered a building full of enemies and, after defeating two other players, was killed by a powerful bot while it was collecting loot, ending his attempt.

Many players find the AI in this game too difficult, even more challenging than playing against other people. Popular streamer Ninja tried it when it launched but stopped playing after just an hour, and seems to have given up on it completely.

He yelled at the other player to quit, frustrated and saying that playing against AI was more difficult than playing against people. He expressed his strong dislike for the game, exclaiming his frustration.

That was the last thing Ninja could take. He immediately ended his game and stream, saying, “I’m done, I’m out of here.”

Marathon is brand new, so we’ll have to wait and see if Ninja decides to play it again. His initial experience wasn’t very positive.
