Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
PIT 7 7 7 0 21
CIN 0 3 7 3 13

The Pitttsburgh Steelers deliver Joe Flacco and the Bengals their fifth loss of the season.

The Steelers’ offense didn’t have a great game, though they managed three touchdowns, with two coming after defensive turnovers. Aaron Rodgers only passed for 192 yards, but his two touchdown passes were enough to secure the win. They jumped to an early 14-3 lead and maintained it throughout the game.

Jaylen Warren scored a 30-yard touchdown for Pittsburgh in the third quarter, but Cincinnati answered with a touchdown of their own. Despite the loss, Ja’Marr Chase had a strong performance, catching six passes for 76 yards and scoring the team’s only touchdown.

Despite a late field goal that brought the score within reach, Cincinnati couldn’t overcome their deficit and failed to advance past the Pittsburgh 40-yard line for the remainder of the game.

Los Angeles Rams at Jacksonville Jaguars – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
LAR 7 0 10 7 24
JAX 0 7 3 9 19

The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Jaguars in a close game, keeping them in contention for first place in the NFC West.

The game started with a touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Davante Adams. However, the Jaguars quickly answered with a touchdown of their own, as Trevor Lawrence connected with Hunter Long. The first half ended with the score tied.

The Rams got some much-needed breathing room when Kyren Williams ran for a 17-yard touchdown. Both teams then kicked field goals, putting the score at 17-10 with Los Angeles in the lead. Jacksonville added a field goal early in the fourth quarter, but the Rams responded with another touchdown run by Williams, this time from 2 yards out. That made the score 24-13 in favor of the Rams.

Trevor Lawrence successfully moved the Jaguars down the field, and a 14-yard touchdown catch by Brian Thomas Jr. brought them within one score. However, Travis Etienne Jr. couldn’t convert the two-point attempt, so the Jaguars still needed another touchdown to tie or take the lead.

That never ended up happening as the Rams managed to run down the clock.

New Orleans Saints at Chicago Bears – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
NO 0 7 3 6 16
CHI 13 0 3 10 26

An ugly first quarter from the Saints gave the Bears everything they needed to win in Week 7.

The Chicago Bears had a fantastic start to their drive. They quickly moved the ball 72 yards in just five plays, going from their own 28-yard line to the New Orleans 10-yard line. Then, Caleb Williams completed a touchdown pass to D’Andre Swift.

Man, that game was rough! First, New Orleans messed up the kick return, giving the Bears a quick chance to kick a field goal after their offense couldn’t get anything going. Then, to make things worse, Alvin Kamara fumbled, and the Bears immediately capitalized with *another* field goal. It felt like everything was going their way after those turnovers.

Things really started clicking for the Saints’ offense in the second quarter – Rattler hit Olave with a beautiful 25-yard touchdown pass! After that, though, both teams kind of stalled out and the rest of the first half was pretty quiet.

During the third quarter, both teams scored field goals, but Chicago remained ahead 16-10. After Swift scored another touchdown for a 23-10 lead, the Saints had only seven minutes left to try and come back.

Derek Carr threw a touchdown pass to Alvin Kamara for nine yards. Although the extra point attempt by New Orleans’ Bailey Grupe was missed, it didn’t affect the outcome. Chicago ultimately stalled on their final drive, allowing New Orleans to win 26-16.

Miami Dolphins at Cleveland Browns – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
MIA 7 7 3 7 27
CLE 3 0 7 7 17

The Miami Dolphins end a two-game losing streak and win their second game of the regular season.

Dillon Gabriel’s early-game struggles ultimately helped the Dolphins win. Although he had a decent performance overall (completing 23 of 34 passes for 230 yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception), his final touchdown came when the game was already decided.

Tua Tagovailoa had a better game overall, despite throwing an interception in the third quarter. He balanced that mistake out with two touchdown passes earlier in the game.

The Browns briefly narrowed the gap in the third quarter when Gabriel threw a touchdown pass to Jerry Jeudy. However, after De’Von Achane scored a late touchdown for Miami, extending their lead to 27-10, the game was essentially out of reach for Cleveland. They managed a late, inconsequential touchdown as they suffered their sixth loss of the season.

New England Patriots at Tennessee Titans – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
NE 3 17 3 6 29
TEN 3 3 0 3 9

The New England Patriots had an easy win against the Tennessee Titans, solidifying their position as the leading team in the AFC East.

After a slow start, the Patriots’ offense came alive in the second quarter. Quarterback Drake Maye threw two touchdown passes to Kayshon Boutte and Stefon Diggs, and New England also added a 52-yard field goal just before halftime.

The second half of the game was fairly calm. The Patriots’ offense easily advanced the ball, but they could only manage three field goals instead of another touchdown. Despite this, their defense held strong and prevented the Titans from scoring any touchdowns, securing the win.

Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
LV 10 3 6 0 22
KC 0 14 3 7 24

A last-minute TD from the Chiefs helps them go above .500 for the first time this season.

The Raiders had a strong start to the game, scoring 10 points without a response from their opponents. A 14-yard touchdown run by Ashton Jeanty gave them a 10-0 lead.

Kansas City scored their first touchdown with a pass from Mahomes to Kelce, but the Raiders could only manage a field goal in response. Before halftime, the Chiefs extended their lead with another Mahomes touchdown, this time to Juju Smith-Schuster.

Las Vegas regained the lead when Geno Smith threw a touchdown pass to Jakobi Meyers. However, they failed to convert the two-point attempt, and Kansas City narrowed the gap with a field goal, leaving the score 19-17 in favor of the Raiders.

With four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the Raiders possessed the ball and were already near Kansas City’s side of the field. Scoring a touchdown or getting a couple of first downs would have sealed the victory, but they had to settle for a field goal, giving the ball back to Kansas City with 3:29 left on the clock.

Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs to a game-winning touchdown drive, finished by a five-yard reception from Tyquan Thornton with only 32 seconds remaining. The Raiders attempted a final drive, gaining 15 yards, but were limited by having only one timeout to conserve time.

Philadelphia Eagles at Minnesota Vikings – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
PHI 0 10 7 3 20
MIN 7 7 0 3 17

The Eagles’ offense struggled mightily, but their defense saved them in the end in Minneapolis.

We didn’t know who would be the Vikings’ starting quarterback when we ran the simulation. However, with J.J. McCarthy back at practice, we chose him as the starter because his projected performance is better than Carson Wentz’s.

That plan backfired badly, as McCarthy threw three interceptions without scoring any touchdowns in the game. One of those interceptions was run back 49 yards for a touchdown by cornerback Cooper DeJean.

The Minnesota offense started strong, largely due to running back Jordan Mason, who scored both of their first-half touchdowns. While Mason carried the ball 12 times before halftime, he only had five carries in the second half as the team shifted to a passing-focused strategy.

The Eagles took the lead in the third quarter when Jalen Hurts threw a touchdown pass to A.J. Brown, putting them ahead 17-14. They increased their lead in the fourth quarter with a field goal, set up by an interception by Quinyon Mitchell that gave Philadelphia good field position at the opponent’s 27-yard line.

With a field goal in the final five minutes, the Vikings reduced the Eagles’ lead. However, the Eagles then controlled the ball and ran out the clock, preventing the Vikings from getting another chance.

Carolina Panthers at New York Jets – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
CAR 7 7 6 10 30
NYJ 10 3 3 7 23

The Carolina Panthers finally boast an above .500 record for the first time since the 2021 season.

The Jets started strong, with quarterback Justin Fields playing much better after a difficult game last week. He threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Garrett Wilson to give the Jets an early lead. However, Carolina quickly answered back when Bryce Young connected with Rico Dowdle for an eight-yard touchdown.

The Panthers gave up two field goals to the Jets, but Bryce Young connected with Tetairoa McMillan for a 22-yard touchdown pass with only 27 seconds remaining in the second quarter, giving them the lead.

The third quarter was pretty slow compared to the rest of the game. After a few field goal drives, the Jets regained the lead when Breece Hall ran for a 1-yard touchdown, putting New York ahead 23-20.

The lead didn’t last long, as Carolina’s Chuba Hubbard quickly scored on a three-yard run. Now behind 27-23, the Jets had to score a touchdown to win. But unfortunately, Justin Fields threw his first interception of the season, intercepted by Mike Jackson.

Carolina only managed a field goal, giving the Jets one last opportunity to tie the score. However, after reaching their own 45-yard line, a penalty and a few missed passes caused the Jets to lose possession. The Panthers then ran out the clock, winning the game.

New York Giants at Denver Broncos – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
NYG 0 0 7 0 7
DEN 7 6 3 7 23

The Broncos’ defense helps them defeat another team from New York.

The Broncos had an easier time building and keeping a lead this week compared to their win last week. Despite this, they had trouble getting touchdowns, and ended up kicking five field goals during the game – though they didn’t make all of them, missing two attempts.

The Denver defense quickly extended their lead when Eiyoma Uwazurike forced a fumble by Tyrone Tracy, and Nik Bonitto recovered it in the end zone for a touchdown. This put Denver ahead 23-7 with under 12 minutes left in the game.

New York’s offense played much worse than it did in last week’s victory against Philadelphia. Quarterback Jaxson Dart had a difficult game, completing only 14 out of 28 passes for 143 yards and one touchdown. While his 19-yard touchdown pass to Jalin Hyatt brought the score to 16-7, it only happened because of an interception made by Tyler Nubin.

Overall, Denver wins to help maintain their position in the West. But what about the Chargers?

Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Chargers – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
IND 7 10 7 10 34
LAC 14 3 0 14 31

The Indianapolis Colts manage to beat the Chargers on the road in a convincing win.

The Chargers mostly played well in the first and fourth quarters of the game. Quarterback Justin Herbert threw three touchdown passes with only one interception, despite the loss. Running back Kimani Vidal made a significant impact with an 89-yard touchdown run early in the first quarter, but he only gained another 42 rushing yards for the remainder of the game.

Man, the Colts’ offense was just *on* today! They started both halves with a touchdown, and then added a field goal right before the half ended each time. Luckily, that last field goal turned out to be the winning score – what a game!

Daniel Jones had a decent game, throwing for a touchdown in the victory, but the Indianapolis Colts’ running game truly stood out. Jonathan Taylor led the way with two touchdowns, and even his backup, DJ Giddens, contributed with a score when Taylor was briefly out of the game.

With the score tied 31-31 and just over three minutes remaining, the Colts easily marched down the field to set up the winning field goal. A key 14-yard catch by Tyler Warren on a crucial third down kept the drive alive for Indianapolis.

Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
WAS 7 10 7 8 32
DAL 14 7 7 7 35

The Cowboys and Commanders played a high-scoring game, and the Cowboys were able to recover after losing in Week 6.

George Pickens had a fantastic game, dominating as a receiver. He caught nine passes for 170 yards and scored two touchdowns, helping his team secure the win. His longest play was a 75-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter that gave his team a 21-17 lead, and he added another 52-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter.

Jayden Daniels distributed the ball well, passing for over 320 yards, though no single receiver had a huge game, with none exceeding 75 yards. Importantly, both Daniels and Dak Prescott played clean games, avoiding any turnovers.

A costly fumble by Washington’s running back, Jacory Croskey-Merritt, in the fourth quarter proved to be a turning point. With the Commanders trailing 28-24, a touchdown at Dallas’s 24-yard line would have put them ahead. However, the fumble gave possession to Dallas, who then scored to extend their lead to 35-24.

Daniels swiftly led his team down the field, completing a seven-yard pass to Zack Ertz for a touchdown. He then connected with Ertz again for a two-point conversion, bringing the score to 35-32. However, there was a catch – only two seconds remained on the clock after the play.

Washington failed to recover the onside kick and the rest is history.

Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
GB 0 10 10 7 27
ARI 7 3 7 7 24

The Packers extend their win streak to two as they beat the Arizona Cardinals in a close match.

With Kyler Murray injured and the team having a bye week coming up, we chose to start Jacoby Brissett, and he played very well.

Arizona’s backup quarterback had a good performance, despite the absence of receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. due to a concussion. He started strong with a touchdown pass to Zay Jones on the first drive, but the Cardinals couldn’t score another touchdown and had to settle for a field goal before halftime.

Wow, what a game! After they scored a touchdown and field goal, the Packers really came alive and put up 10 points without Arizona answering. Josh Jacobs had a great 15-yard touchdown run during that stretch. But Arizona wasn’t done – Michael Carter broke loose for a 26-yard touchdown, and they took the lead again. Then, just when you thought things were settled, the Packers went on another 10-point run and grabbed a 20-17 lead! It was a total back-and-forth battle.

Brissett threw a touchdown pass to Trey McBride, putting the Cardinals ahead again. However, the Packers had enough time – 2:04 and two timeouts – to drive down the field and score. They did just that, with Jordan Love connecting with Romeo Doubs for a touchdown with only 46 seconds remaining, giving the Packers a three-point lead.

Brissett got the Cardinals across midfield, but they failed to convert on 4th down when his pass to McBride fell incomplete. With the loss, the Cardinals have now lost five games in a row.

Atlanta Falcons at San Francisco 49ers – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
ATL 7 7 3 3 20
SF 7 3 0 0 10

The Atlanta Falcons upset the 49ers in San Francisco thanks to a strong defensive performance.

The 49ers got off to a good start with Brock Purdy back after his injury, scoring a touchdown on their second possession with a pass to Jauan Jennings. However, the Falcons quickly answered back, as Bijan Robinson ran for a four-yard touchdown.

When Jauan Jennings got injured during the second quarter, the 49ers’ passing attack really struggled. His last catch was a 20-yard gain that got them close enough for a field goal attempt, but it was also the last time they managed to get past the 45-yard line on the Falcons’ side of the field.

The Falcons added another touchdown before halftime – a two-yard run by Michael Penix Jr. – to take a 14-10 lead into the break. The second half was uneventful. Aside from two field goals by the Falcons, there wasn’t much action, with both teams repeatedly punting the ball and no turnovers occurring.

With a field goal by Parker Romo with 6:43 remaining, the Falcons appeared to have the game won. It looked unlikely the 49ers could score the ten points, or even a single field goal, they needed. And with that, the Falcons’ record improves to 4-2.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
TB 7 7 14 7 35
DET 10 14 0 14 38

The Detroit Lions survive a shootout with the Buccaneers that nearly went to OT.

Detroit came out strong on offense, putting up 24 points in the first half. Both Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery ran for touchdowns of over 25 yards, and Jared Goff connected with Sam LaPorta for another score. Tampa Bay struggled initially, but Baker Mayfield managed to find Tez Johnson for a touchdown with just 27 seconds left in the half.

Detroit’s offense struggled in the third quarter. Tampa Bay’s Lavonte David intercepted a pass from Goff and ran it back to the Detroit 5-yard line, setting up a five-yard touchdown run by Bucky Irving. The Buccaneers then extended their lead with another touchdown – a reception by Rachaad White – bringing the score to 28-24.

The Lions regained the lead after their offense found its rhythm. Quarterback Jared Goff, after throwing an interception, connected with Amon-Ra St. Brown for a touchdown, putting his team ahead.

Tampa Bay briefly took the lead when Mayfield threw a touchdown pass to Cade Otton. However, they left Detroit with too much time on the clock (4:13), allowing the Lions to drive down the field and score again with just 1:12 remaining on a touchdown reception by Gibbs.

Ugh, it was so frustrating watching the Bucs! We had a chance to tie things up with Chase McLaughlin, but then Baker Mayfield threw an interception to Rock Ya-Sin right at the Detroit 44-yard line. That pretty much ended the game, handing the win to Detroit. It was a tough one to watch!

Houston Texans at Seattle Seahawks – NFL Week 7 Predictions According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
HOU 0 7 7 8 22
SEA 7 6 6 6 25

The Seahawks manage to beat the Texans and climb atop the NFC West.

Sam Darnold opened the game with a 40-yard touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp. A field goal followed, and then the Texans scored their first points with a rushing touchdown by Nick Chubb. Seattle added another field goal just before halftime.

Houston briefly went ahead after C.J. Stroud connected with Nico Collins for a touchdown. Seattle quickly answered with a touchdown run by Kenneth Walker III, but their attempt to add two more points failed. Despite this, Seattle still led 19-14.

The Texans regained the lead after quarterback C.J. Stroud threw a touchdown pass to Christian Kirk. They then attempted a two-point conversion, with Nick Chubb successfully running the ball into the end zone.

Seattle quickly responded with a field goal, tying the game with 7:40 left. After a short incomplete pass by Stroud, the Seahawks regained possession with 4:49 remaining. They expertly used the clock, drove down the field, and won the game with a field goal as time ran out.

That concludes our look at the Week 7 NFL results as predicted by Madden 26. We hope you enjoyed the read and are excited to see how accurate the game turns out to be! No matter what happens, we’re curious to see what surprising predictions Madden 26 makes in the future.
