Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
PHI 0 10 7 0 17
NYG 3 0 0 7 10

As an Eagles fan, I was so relieved to see them learn from last week! They really held on against the Giants, and it was a nail-biter right until the very end. It was great to see them avoid repeating those earlier mistakes.

The Giants scored first, but struggled to add to their lead until the fourth quarter. The Eagles, on the other hand, quickly took control, scoring 17 straight points. DeVonta Smith caught a 22-yard touchdown pass, and later, Jalen Hurts ran for a five-yard touchdown.

The Eagles, leading 17-3, almost saw their 14-point advantage disappear. The Giants scored a touchdown with a pass from Jaxson Dart to Wan’Dale Robinson, narrowing the gap. Despite multiple chances to tie the game, they couldn’t convert. They even reached the Eagles’ 19-yard line on one drive, but a sack by Jalen Carter and a few incomplete passes forced them to turn the ball over.

Denver Broncos at New York Jets – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
DEN 10 3 3 7 23
NYJ 0 3 3 3 9

Denver’s defense saved the day as they completely shut down the Jets’ offense in London.

The Broncos’ defense completely shut down the opposing team, preventing them from scoring any touchdowns. They also pressured Justin Fields, who hadn’t thrown an interception all season, into throwing two. Talanoa Hufanga took one of those interceptions all the way back for a 42-yard touchdown.

The offense didn’t have a standout performance against a fairly weak defense. They managed one touchdown – set up by an interception – and three field goals. A late touchdown pass from Bo Nix to Marvin Mims Jr. ultimately secured the win, putting the score at 23-9 with just over four minutes left in the game.

Arizona Cardinals at Indianapolis Colts – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
ARI 7 0 0 10 17
IND 7 10 7 7 31

The Indianapolis Colts once again dominated as they took care of business against the Cardinals.

The game started evenly, with both teams scoring a touchdown within the first fifteen minutes. However, the Colts dominated the second and third quarters, racking up 17 consecutive points. A 65-yard touchdown run by Jonathan Taylor early in the third quarter put Indianapolis well ahead, giving them a 24-7 lead – a performance that nearly matched his entire yardage total from the previous week.

Arizona narrowed the gap with a field goal early in the fourth quarter, but the Colts quickly answered with a five-minute touchdown drive. Daniel Jones then secured the win with a 2-yard touchdown pass to Josh Downs, bringing the final score to 31-10.

Arizona added one final touchdown late in the game thanks to Trey McBride, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Colts, who ultimately won.

Los Angeles Chargers at Miami Dolphins – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
LAC 3 3 6 3 15
MIA 0 7 0 15 22

The Miami Dolphins manage to upset the Chargers at home.

The L.A. offense had trouble running the ball without key players Najee Harris and Omarion Hampton. This meant Justin Herbert had to pass frequently, attempting 39 throws but completing only 21. Even with opportunities created by the defense, they managed just six points in the first half. On a positive note, De’Von Achane recovered from a poor previous game by scoring a touchdown in the second quarter.

The Chargers scored their first touchdown in the third quarter, but failed to complete the extra point, leaving the score at 12-7. Miami answered in the fourth quarter with a touchdown pass from Tua Tagovailoa to Darren Waller, and Achane successfully ran in the two-point conversion.

The game was calm until the final five minutes, when the Chargers managed to tie it with a field goal. However, the Dolphins quickly responded with a touchdown drive, capped off by a Jaylen Waddle reception, with 4:36 left on the clock. The Chargers couldn’t convert on fourth down and were unable to mount a comeback.

New England Patriots at New Orleans Saints – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
NE 0 7 3 10 20
NO 0 3 6 10 19

The Patriots narrowly defeated the Saints, with a strong defensive performance and a little bit of luck playing in their favor.

The game remained 0-0 until Drake Maye threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs, giving the Patriots their first points. New Orleans quickly responded with a field goal just before halftime.

The third quarter saw a lot of field goals, with both teams settling for three points instead of touchdowns when they got close to the end zone. Despite this, the Patriots went into the fourth quarter with a narrow 10-9 lead.

The Saints took the lead for the first time in the fourth quarter with a field goal, making the score 12-10. They then recovered the kickoff, giving them possession at the Patriots’ 21-yard line. From there, Alvin Kamara scored a five-yard touchdown in just four plays.

Trailing 19-10, the Patriots swiftly scored a touchdown with under three minutes left in the game. Quarterback Maye threw his second touchdown pass, a 30-yard connection with tight end Hunter Henry. Though only seven minutes remained, the Patriots forced a quick three-and-out and regained possession with around five minutes to play.

Mac Jones guided the Patriots close to the Saints’ goal line, but they couldn’t reach the end zone and had to kick a field goal. This gave the Saints possession of the ball with more than two minutes remaining and two timeouts to use.

The Saints advanced the ball to the New England 35-yard line, but after a timeout called by the Patriots’ coach Vrabel to try and disrupt the kick, Saints kicker Blake Grupe missed a 52-yard field goal, securing a win for New England.

Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
CLE 0 7 7 0 14
PIT 14 0 0 10 24

The Steelers won against the Browns, largely due to a strong performance in the fourth quarter, despite a tough game from Dillon Gabriel.

Pittsburgh got off to a fantastic start, with their defense immediately intercepting a pass and the offense quickly scoring two touchdowns. However, after a strong beginning, Pittsburgh’s momentum stalled in the second and third quarters, allowing Cleveland to begin closing the gap.

Gabriel made up for his earlier mistake with a touchdown pass to David Njoku, bringing the score to 14-14. Unfortunately, that was the last time they scored, as the Steelers regained control of the game in the fourth quarter.

Initially, a field goal brought the score to 17-14. However, Jaylen Warren then sealed the win with a 12-yard touchdown run.

Dallas Cowboys at Carolina Panthers – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
DAL 0 21 7 10 38
CAR 14 0 0 7 21

The Panthers blew an early 14-0 lead as the Cowboys win two in a row.

Carolina started strong, with Bryce Young throwing a six-yard touchdown pass to Hunter Renfrow on their first drive. A fumble by Javonte Williams gave the Panthers possession at the Dallas 25-yard line, which they capitalized on with a touchdown run by former Dallas Cowboy, Rico Dowdle.

Dallas quickly stopped Dowdle and the entire Panthers offense, going on to score 35 consecutive points. They regained the lead in the second quarter and received the ball to start the third, where they added another touchdown to extend their lead to 28-14.

Williams’ touchdown run with 10:06 remaining effectively sealed the victory for Dallas, extending their lead to 35-14. While the Panthers managed a late score, the Cowboys were able to run out most of the clock with a field goal drive.

Seattle Seahawks at Jacksonville Jaguars – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter OT FINAL
SEA 7 3 6 14 3 33
JAX 10 10 10 0 6 39

Liam Coen and the Jaguars remain on fire as they hold off the Seahawks in Overtime.

For the first three quarters, Jacksonville dominated the game, consistently scoring 10 points each quarter. The Seahawks struggled to respond, being forced to settle for field goals on three consecutive drives. As a result, Jacksonville led 30-16 heading into the fourth quarter.

The Jaguars’ offense began to struggle, and Trevor Lawrence threw an interception to Coby Bryant, setting up a touchdown run by Kenneth Walker III. They couldn’t run out the clock or even kick a field goal to secure the win. Ultimately, Sam Darnold tied the game with a touchdown pass to Tory Horton in the final minute.

Seattle started the second half with possession, but it took them seven minutes to finally score a field goal. Jacksonville quickly answered with a 75-yard touchdown drive – a seven-play sequence capped off by a 15-yard touchdown catch from Dyami Brown.

Los Angeles Rams at Baltimore Ravens – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
LAR 10 10 7 3 30
BAL 0 7 0 13 20

The Rams rebound from last week’s loss with a strong win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Even though Lamar Jackson might be able to play, we expect the team will rest him, especially since they have a week off coming up. Because of this, we’re starting Cooper Rush. The offense did perform better overall, largely due to some key touchdowns scored towards the end of the game.

The Rams’ offense played well, building a comfortable 27-7 lead by the end of the third quarter. Quarterback Matthew Stafford threw three touchdown passes, connecting with Davante Adams, Puka Nacua, and Kyren Williams for the scores.

It was a nail-biter at the end! Baltimore tried really hard to come back, and Zay Flowers made an amazing 36-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter to get us within 10, making it 30-20. Unfortunately, we couldn’t quite seal the deal – Derrick Henry’s attempt for the two-point conversion fell short, and we just couldn’t close the gap.

Tennessee Titans at Las Vegas Raiders – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
TEN 0 3 7 0 10
LV 0 3 3 7 13

Both teams needed a win, but Las Vegas was the one that ultimately prevailed, earning their second victory of the season.

The first half of the game was slow, with only two field goals scored. Things improved in the second half when Cam Ward threw a touchdown pass to Calvin Ridley, giving his team the lead. Although Las Vegas advanced to the Titans’ 20-yard line, they could only manage a field goal.

Maxx Crosby made a crucial play, tackling Cam Ward and causing a fumble that the Raiders recovered. Geno Smith then led a successful drive, culminating in a game-winning touchdown pass to Jack Bech. Although over ten minutes remained in the game, it was essentially over, as neither team managed to score again.

Cincinnati Bengals at Green Bay Packers – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
CIN 7 0 0 14 21
GB 7 21 14 0 42

The Packers win their first game after the bye as they defeat the Bengals with ease.

We’ve decided to start Jake Browning, although he might not play this weekend. Honestly, it’s unclear if playing Joe Flacco or Brett Rypien would have changed much. Either way, Browning and the Bengals did manage to score first, set up by a fantastic punt return by Charlie Jones.

Cincinnati struggled to stop Green Bay’s powerful offense, which really took off in the second quarter. Josh Jacobs scored three rushing touchdowns for Green Bay, including a 49-yard run. Quarterback Jordan Love threw for three touchdowns himself, one of which was a 17-yard pass to rookie receiver Matthew Golden, extending Green Bay’s lead to 42-7.

In the fourth quarter, the Packers focused on running the ball, with Josh Jacobs carrying it 24 times for 202 yards. This allowed the Bengals to score two late touchdowns, though they were largely inconsequential. Ja’Marr Chase, who had been quiet earlier with just two catches for 30 yards in the first three quarters, managed to score a touchdown. Bengals quarterback Jake Browning threw two interceptions in the game, bringing his season total to ten.

San Francisco 49ers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
SF 0 10 14 3 27
TB 7 7 0 10 24

The 49ers manage to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the final moments of regulation.

The Buccaneers started the game with a 1-yard touchdown run by Rachaad White. San Francisco answered with a field goal, but Tampa Bay quickly extended their lead with a touchdown reception by Emeka Egbuka, making the score 14-3. Before halftime, the 49ers rallied with an 11-yard touchdown pass from Brock Purdy to Jauan Jennings.

Okay, so we held George Kittle out, but it looks like Brock Purdy, Jauan Jennings, and Ricky Pearsall are all likely to play this week! Because of that, I included them in my lineup.

The Buccaneers really struggled in the third quarter. It started with a 41-yard touchdown run by Christian McCaffrey against their defense. Later, Baker Mayfield threw an interception to Fred Warner, who ran it back to the Buccaneers’ 33-yard line. The 49ers then finished that drive with another touchdown run by McCaffrey.

Trailing 24-14, the Buccaneers narrowed the gap when Chris Godwin caught a touchdown pass. They then added a field goal with 1:38 remaining to tie the score.

Man, even with limited time, the 49ers still had two timeouts, so I knew they had a chance. Bourne made a great catch for 21 yards, getting us down to the 40-yard line. Then, Pineiro stepped up and nailed a 49-yard field goal to win the game! It was a nail-biter, but we pulled it off.

Detroit Lions at Kansas City Chiefs – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
DET 14 0 7 14 35
KC 0 10 7 14 31

The Detroit Lions defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in a thrilling game that featured six lead changes.

Man, the first quarter felt like Detroit was totally dominating. Then the Chiefs just woke up and put 17 points on the board super fast, completely changing the game. But we weren’t done! We fought back and actually took the lead again thanks to a sweet 26-yard touchdown run by Jahmyr Gibbs right before the fourth quarter started.

The defense completely fell apart in the fourth quarter, allowing four touchdowns. Tyquan Thornton started the scoring with a 52-yard touchdown catch, and Amon-Ra St. Brown quickly answered with a 27-yard touchdown reception of his own.

Trailing 28-24, Patrick Mahomes orchestrated a seven-minute touchdown drive, ending with a touchdown catch by Travis Kelce. However, that still left Detroit with over two minutes to try and score again, and they were successful.

With just 21 seconds left, St. Brown scored a touchdown after a drive that almost stalled a couple of times. The drive stayed alive when Jared Goff connected with Sam LaPorta for eight yards on 4th and 5, and later with Jameson Williams for 19 yards on 3rd and 12. They could have kicked a field goal to tie the game, but they were able to score a touchdown instead.

Buffalo Bills at Atlanta Falcons – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
BUF 7 10 7 10 34
ATL 7 3 7 7 24

The Buffalo Bills bounce back from their first loss of the season as they beat the Falcons.

Both Josh Allen and Bijan Robinson had outstanding performances in their respective games. Allen threw for two touchdowns and gained over 270 yards, while Robinson rushed for 146 yards and also scored two touchdowns.

Buffalo went into halftime with a 17-10 lead after making a field goal as time expired, but Atlanta quickly tied the game with a nine-yard touchdown by Robinson. Buffalo then regained the lead when Dalton Kincaid caught a 12-yard touchdown pass.

Man, we were up 24-17 in the fourth and I thought we had it! Cook punched one in from three yards out to extend our lead, but then Pitts caught a touchdown for the Falcons and suddenly it was a game again. Luckily, our offense drove down the field and we nailed a long field goal to finally put them away. What a relief!

Chicago Bears at Washington Commanders – NFL Week 6 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
CHI 6 7 7 6 26
WAS 7 3 10 3 23

Unlike previous games, there wasn’t a desperate, last-second effort to score. This time, the Bears were the ones who made the play that won the game in the final moments.

Washington quickly answered Chicago’s field goal with a touchdown catch by Zack Ertz. They added another field goal to take a 10-6 lead, but Chicago then scored a touchdown of their own – a catch by D.J. Moore – just before halftime.

Washington kicked a field goal early in the second half to tie the score, but Chicago quickly responded with a touchdown run by D’Andre Swift, making it 20-13. Before the third quarter ended, Terry McLaurin scored a touchdown for Washington, bringing the score to a tie.

Early in the fourth quarter, the Bears kicked a field goal, which Washington quickly matched. With only three minutes left in the game, the Bears got possession of the ball. This time, instead of a last-second miracle, they methodically moved down the field, used up the clock, and Cairo Santos kicked the winning field goal as time expired.
