Okay, so I’m a big NFL and Madden fan, and I’ve been following Madden 26’s predictions for the season. Last week, the game nailed 12 out of 16 games – pretty impressive! Overall, since the start of the season, Madden 26 has correctly predicted 21 games out of 32. I’m really curious to see if it can keep up the good work this week, so I’m excited to see what happens when we simulate all the Week 2 games on Madden 26!

Before getting into these sims, just a few reminders:

  • If a player is listed as “Questionable” then we still play them
  • If a player is listed as “Doubtful” then we do not play them

These early-week predictions are made before we have a complete picture of each team’s weekend lineup. With that said, let’s get started!

Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills – Week 3 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
MIA 0 7 0 14 21
BUF 7 14 7 7 35

The Buffalo Bills’ offense is playing incredibly well, but the Dolphins’ defense is still having trouble.

Josh Allen had a great game, throwing for four touchdowns as his team won. James Cook added another touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Miami’s defense has now given up over 33 points in three consecutive games.

The Dolphins’ offense had a tough time moving the ball for most of the game, and their points came late when the outcome was already decided, boosting Tua’s final statistics. Despite this, the quarterback threw an interception, and running back De’Von Achane fumbled the ball during the loss.

Buffalo remains undefeated while Miami still searches for their first win of the season.

Green Bay Packers at Cleveland Browns – Week 3 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
GB 3 10 14 3 30
CLE 0 7 3 7 17

Green Bay remains undefeated after beating the Browns in Week 3.

The game began slowly, with the Browns taking a 7-3 lead after a five-yard touchdown run by Jerome Ford. However, the Packers quickly responded, scoring 17 straight points, capped off by a 23-yard touchdown pass to Romeo Doubs just before halftime. Josh Jacobs added another score in the third quarter with an 18-yard run.

Despite scoring a touchdown with a 12-yard reception by Jerry Jeudy, the Cleveland Browns couldn’t overcome a 17-point deficit and lost to Green Bay fairly comfortably. With 15 minutes remaining and trailing 27-10, their attempted comeback fell short.

Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans – Week 3 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
IND 14 3 7 0 24
TEN 0 7 3 6 16

The Indianapolis Colts remain undefeated as they hold on against the Titans.

Daniel Jones had a good game, completing 20 of 27 passes for 251 yards and one touchdown. However, Jonathan Taylor was the standout player, rushing for 146 yards and two touchdowns, leading his team to victory. Taylor’s two early touchdowns gave his team a 14-0 lead, and the defense successfully limited the opposing rookie quarterback, Cam Ward, ensuring a comfortable win.

The Titans definitely seemed to improve after the first few minutes, actually outscoring the Colts 16-10 for the rest of the game. However, they struggled to score touchdowns when they got close to the end zone, settling for just three field goals on four drives inside the 20-yard line. This made it difficult for them to catch up.

With only 2:18 remaining, Joey Slye kicked a 46-yard field goal to put the Colts ahead. Tennessee tried a risky onside kick with just one timeout left, hoping to regain possession, but they failed to recover the ball, securing the win for Indianapolis.

Cincinnati Bengals at Minnesota Vikings – Week 3 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter OT FINAL
CIN 7 3 0 7 0 17
MIN 0 7 7 3 3 20

The Bengals, led by quarterback Jake Browning, played against Carson Wentz and the Vikings, and the game lived up to expectations.

The Bengals had a promising start with a 25-yard touchdown pass from Browning to Ja’Marr Chase on their first drive. However, their offense struggled to find the end zone again until late in the fourth quarter, when Chase Brown scored a touchdown.

Minnesota improved their game in the second and third quarters. Carson Wentz threw touchdown passes to both Justin Jefferson (for eight yards) and T.J. Hockenson. However, Wentz also committed two turnovers with interceptions, and one of those interceptions directly led to a touchdown for the Bengals.

Minnesota ultimately kicked a field goal as the clock ran out, forcing overtime. The extra period didn’t last long, as Browning threw an interception on the very first play. The Vikings then ran the ball three times before winning the game with a 37-yard field goal.

Pittsburgh Steelers at New England Patriots – Week 3 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
PIT 7 7 0 0 14
NE 0 3 7 0 10

The Steelers and Patriots played a really slow-paced, defensive game, but the Steelers ultimately won what was probably the least exciting game of the week.

Okay, so Rodgers actually got us going with a touchdown pass to Freiermuth, which was awesome! But then he threw a pick – seriously frustrating – and Carlton Davis III almost took it all the way back for a score, getting the Patriots down to our 18-yard line. Luckily, our defense stepped up and held them to a field goal, so it wasn’t a total disaster.

Kenneth Gainwell quickly answered with a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, giving the Steelers a 14-3 lead.

New England started the second half with a long, impressive drive – fifteen plays lasting nine full minutes – that ended with a two-yard touchdown run by Rhamondre Stevenson. After that, both teams’ offenses struggled badly, and the game remained largely uneventful for the final 21 minutes.

Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles – Week 3 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
LAR 0 6 0 13 19
PHI 0 10 7 7 24

The Philadelphia Eagles remain undefeated while the Rams lose their first game of the year.

The first quarter was pretty slow, honestly. But then Saquon Barkley really got us going in the second with a nine-yard touchdown run! After that, it was back and forth with field goals – both teams kept trading them. The Rams managed to squeeze in one more right before halftime, though.

The Eagles increased their lead in the third quarter with a touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts to A.J. Brown. Saquon Barkley then added another touchdown in the fourth quarter, running for 26 yards. With 10:33 left in the game, the Eagles were ahead 24-6.

The Rams almost pulled off a comeback after Saquon Barkley scored a touchdown. Matthew Stafford followed up with seven straight completed passes, culminating in a 21-yard touchdown to Puka Nacua. The Rams’ defense quickly stopped the opposing team, and they regained possession. A few plays later, Stafford threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to DaVante Adams, but the missed extra point left the score at 24-19.

In the final minutes of the game, the Eagles were able to maintain possession, effectively running down the clock and preventing the Rams from getting another chance with the ball. A key six-yard run by Hurts on a crucial third down kept their drive going, and helped the Eagles remain undefeated.

New York Jets at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Week 3 Results According to Madden 26

TEAM 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter FINAL
NYJ 0 7 0 0 7

The Buccaneers remain undefeated after beating Tyrod Taylor and the Jets in Week 3.

Tampa Bay’s defense effectively stopped Taylor, the opposing quarterback. He only completed 19 out of 38 passes and gained 22 yards on four rushing attempts. He didn’t throw any touchdowns and was intercepted twice during the game, ultimately leading to a loss.

The Buccaneers’ offense was on fire against the Jets’ defense. Wide receivers Mike Evans and Emeka Egbuka together caught 11 passes for 204 yards and scored three touchdowns, with Egbuka’s 56-yard touchdown catch happening early in the second quarter.

Tampa Bay dominated the second half, increasing their lead by 17 points. A 7-yard touchdown run by Bucky Irving sealed the victory, giving the Buccaneers a 3-0 record to start the season.

After losing in Week 2, the Washington Commanders defeated the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3.

Washington built a strong 16-0 halftime lead, despite some offensive difficulties when getting close to the end zone. They entered the red zone three times in the first half, but only managed to score a touchdown on one of those drives.

Las Vegas scored their first points of the game with a three-yard touchdown run by HB Ashton Jeanty. However, the Raiders surprisingly opted not to attempt a two-point conversion, and Washington quickly answered with a touchdown of their own. Rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt ran for four yards to score, extending the Commanders’ lead to 23-7.

The Commanders increased their lead to 26-7 early in the fourth quarter with a field goal. The Raiders didn’t score again until the very end of the game, when Geno Smith connected with Tre Tucker for a 13-yard touchdown. The Texans took an early lead with a touchdown run by Nick Chubb, but the Jaguars quickly answered with a field goal. Both teams added another field goal during the second quarter, and then Travis Hunter scored his first NFL touchdown on a short two-yard catch. However, the Texans managed to tie the score right before halftime with another field goal.

The second half continued the trend of field goals. Nick Chubb did manage a five-yard touchdown, but the extra point attempt was missed. Jacksonville also contributed with three more field goals, bringing the total number of field goals in the game to five.

With the game tied 22-22, Fairbairn kicked a field goal as time ran out, securing the Texans’ first victory of the season.

The L.A. Chargers remained undefeated with a thrilling victory over the Broncos in what was arguably the most exciting game of the week.

The Chargers opened the game with a touchdown drive in the first quarter. Wide receiver Quentin Johnston is proving to be a valuable asset, scoring two touchdowns in the victory. Both of his touchdowns came during the first half, one of which was a 30-yard reception.

Denver also stayed competitive throughout the game. After a slow start, the Oregon offense, led by Bo Nix, found its rhythm and put up 10 points in the second quarter, highlighted by a 3-yard touchdown run from the sophomore quarterback.

Denver briefly took the lead in the third quarter when Marvin Mims Jr. caught a two-yard touchdown pass from Nix, putting them ahead 17-14. However, Los Angeles quickly tied the score before the start of the fourth quarter.

The teams continued to score, with J.K. Dobbins running for a touchdown for the Broncos and Omarion Hampton doing the same for the Chargers. After the Broncos were forced to punt with only 3:41 remaining, the Chargers capitalized and won the game with a field goal.

The Seattle Seahawks won their home game against the New Orleans Saints. A consistently good offense helped them improve their season record to above .500.

The Saints struggled offensively in the first half, only managing three field goals. Meanwhile, Seattle scored two touchdowns with effective drives. Jaxon-Smith Njigba had a standout performance, catching seven passes for 117 yards and a touchdown. Dallas’ offense had a strong first half, scoring on four out of five drives and only having to punt once.

Dak Prescott had a great game, throwing for four touchdowns, with two of those going to CeeDee Lamb. Javonte Williams also scored two touchdowns, and his four-yard run late in the game sealed the victory.

The Chicago Bears’ offense had a decent performance, although a late touchdown made the final score seem closer than it was. Quarterback Caleb Williams threw for three touchdowns, connecting with three different receivers. A 49-yard touchdown pass to D.J. Moore was a standout play, but it ultimately allowed Dallas to respond and score before halftime.

The Cowboys’ offense struggled a bit in the second half, but they still managed to score two more touchdowns, allowing them to maintain their lead over the Bears. Although the defense wasn’t at its best, the team’s 2-1 record is what really counts.

Man, that was a nail-biter! I was cheering for the Cardinals, and they pulled through, staying undefeated! Mac Jones and the 49ers put up a fight, but we got the win!

Jones struggled in the game, throwing two interceptions and getting tackled in his own end zone for a safety, ultimately leading to a loss. While Christian McCaffrey had a good performance with 83 rushing yards and a touchdown on 22 carries, most of his impact came from one long, 32-yard run.

Okay, so Kyler Murray wasn’t having a great game – he threw a couple of interceptions, which really hurt. But he did manage to connect with James Conner for a three-yard touchdown pass in the third, which was a bright spot, honestly.

With only 1:37 remaining, the 49ers went ahead 16-15. However, the Cardinals avoided defeat thanks to a spectacular 43-yard pass from Murray to Marvin Harrison Jr. on a crucial third down. As time ran out, Chad Ryland kicked the winning field goal.

The Giants weren’t giving up easily. Russell Wilson threw touchdown passes to both Malik Nabers and Wan’Dale Robinson. Kansas City responded with a field goal by Butker, narrowing the score to 14-13.

Both teams found the end zone in the third quarter, but the Chiefs failed to convert the extra point after their touchdown. This gave the Giants a brief lead after Tyrone Tracy ran for a touchdown, putting them up 21-19. However, similar to the first quarter, the Chiefs regained control and scored ten more points without the Giants responding.

Isiah Pacheco’s touchdown run with 2:31 remaining appeared to seal the win. The Giants desperately needed a touchdown and a two-point conversion, but Wilson fumbled after being sacked by Chris Jones, ending their chances.
