Next Grow A Garden Update And Events

Curious about when the next update for Grow A Garden will arrive? Since the game launched in March 2025, we’ve been releasing updates every week! Each patch includes new items and lots of other exciting features to keep you entertained as you collect different plants and pets. Sometimes, we even include bigger events with challenging obstacle courses (Obbies) and hidden areas to explore.

Each update to this Roblox game introduces a variety of new items to collect, including themed Grow A Garden pets with special effects, seeds for your garden, and sometimes completely new, never-before-seen mutations. The most rewarding events usually involve spending extra time playing and exploring beyond the main garden area. When is the next Grow A Garden update?

The next update for Grow A Garden starts on Saturday, October 11th, at 10 AM Eastern Time / 7 AM Pacific Time. While we don’t know exactly what’s included yet, it will probably add something new to the Event area of the garden. You can look forward to new prizes, seeds, pets, improvements to the game, and different weather effects.

After a recent issue with admin actions, moderator Jhailatte mentioned the developers are planning to add more lasting content to the game. This could include continuing the evolving seeds and season pass from last week’s event, or it might mean entirely new, permanent features are on the way.

Current Grow A Garden event

Okay, so the new ‘Grow A Garden’ event kicked off on Saturday, October 4th at 10 AM Eastern time (7 AM Pacific). It’s running for a whole week! With the latest update, they’ve added a little event area right in the middle of the map, and you get a free Chubby Chipmunk pet! If you put it in your garden, it’ll automatically munch away every few minutes, and that’ll make Acorns pop up on the map. Collect those Acorns, and you’ll get one of the awesome rewards they’re offering!

The vendor also needs up to 1,500 plant points from you. Once he receives enough, a 5-minute weather effect called Nutty Fever will start. This makes the Chubby Chipmunk feed much faster – every 30 seconds instead of its usual rate. Remember, only *you* can contribute the plants, though your progress won’t be lost if you switch to a different server.

Admin Abuse events

Before each update, the admins host a fun event called “Admin Abuse” to preview the changes. This is usually when Jandel or another admin playfully causes some chaos on the servers. During this time, special weather effects only admins can trigger will appear, shops will restock with very rare items, and minigames will start, offering cosmetic rewards and other prizes to players who complete them. You might even get lucky and receive a free, ultra-rare pet like a Chicken Zombie or Junkbot!

Okay, so as a FarmVille fan, let me tell you, I *really* recommend playing this special hour on a server that’s not too crowded. Seriously, other players’ plants can spread and cover up things you need to find, especially during events like ‘Find the Pet.’ Imagine searching for a rare pet and it’s hidden *inside* someone else’s giant Briar Rose! You could miss out on a freebie! Also, don’t rush off right after the Admin Abuse ends – sometimes they do another round with even more giveaways and fun weather effects, so it’s worth sticking around a bit!
